Unpleasant

Difficult to find the property . I was not given the accommodation that I had booked at Wendover Annexe . I was asked to drive to another hotel , Cavendish hotel nearby . The room was not as advertised on booking .com . Initially the room that I was allocated did not have any curtains and was facing the main road outside . I was subsequently shifted to another room . The toilet had faecal residue . It was extremely chilly making it difficult to sleep and had to request for heating to be adjusted . Eventually , I was provided with a portable heater which made it bearable .

Comfy bed, ground floor room. Secure covered parking.

Difficult to find as signage was Buckingham Hotel Bathroom fan did not switch off. No hangers in wardrobe. Could do with privacy film on the windows.

I worked in a Hotel for 7 years and this hotels cleanliness was superb (as effectively it has new rooms)

Room Heating Issues

Good value for the room rate, the provision of parking and helpful staff and cheerful cleaners.

Room 15 / Radiator & Heating Issues: A) your engineer visited and advised me that the heating is actually, only on for an hour or so a day, which was good to know (but apparently not in room 15!) B) I would really appreciate it, if you could get this sorted, so at least it was regular and dependable, not just once or twice a week as currently exists C) the room radiator has a thermostat, so I can regulate the heat as and when I need to D) I fully understand that heating is a major operating cost for any hotel and there may exist strong management directives to reduce this as much as possible. Thank You
