Fairly miserable, but the room was clean.

The room was clean.

The room was cold and noisy, it was at the back of the building but there's a car park and additional buildings out the back. Constant loud tv or other noises all night. The radiator didn't work, it was very cold the first night. I messaged reception about the cold ; the next day I received a standard reply about getting a heating engineer out (I don't think that's truthful). Luckily there were two beds in the room, so I slept under 2 duvets. The reception staff barely look at you, too busy on various screens. The second night my door pass didn't work - I had to get them to fix that. There's no breakfast. It's really more of a hostel, than a hotel. Checkout is 10am - that's too early. A cleaner was knocking on my door at 9.30am, as though 10am isn't early enough to leave.

Exceeded expectations

Well located for me, very clean, shower was powerful and hot, fridge and microwave were a bonus and enabled me to eat healthily. Secure car park was very welcome.

Communication ahead of booking wasn’t brilliant. I asked a couple of questions and neither was answered. I had to call to obtain code for car park.

A bed for the night staff are very welcoming.

Clean adequate amenities such as kettle, microwave and fridge.

The room was extremely hot no airflow even with the 1 window opened. Bed was uncomfortable. Luckily there was hot water for a shower as at times staying at these chains of apartments/rooms there is insufficient hot water supply .

Parking in surrounding area

There was a distinct smokers smell. Photos on booking.com lead it to look more modern and clean than it was. No lock on inside of the doors. No photos on the website showing the external of the property.

Everything you need is there, and it's clean and tidy. I recommend it.

A clean room and comfortable bed, as well as a microwave and refrigerator in the room, and free parking right next to the hotel.
