The Cherry Tree is a real gem
The decoration is so beautiful and cosy. The staff really friendly and the breakfasts wonderful.

Lovely room and place but horrendous experience!
Very lovely room (once we found it), comfortable beds and clean. Nice and easy to find location.
The communication was honestly atrocious. After booking we had a message from the hotel to tell us that after 3pm we would need to self-check-in by collecting our room key card from a key safe around the back. However, we weren't given a room number in our booking so we had no idea which key we would need out of 13 rooms. We tried to ring at the weekend, as our stay was on a Monday night, but the number for the hotel just kept saying it was unavailable. We tried a different number that was given to us about booking breakfast, but the lady that picked up no longer works there! I tried messaging on the booking.com app and the hotel website and just got a reply about breakfast, so the message clearly was never read! We thought we'll just go early as in the first message from the hotel it said you could check in at the cafe until 3pm, but on the website it says the cafe is closed on Mondays! We tried to ring again on Monday, number still unavailable. When we got there, there was nobody about and the key safe numbers we were provided didn't work (we thought we'd just have to check the rooms to find the one that matched the picture we were given). However, one of the three key safes was open and contained the master key, which we had to use to get in and we found what was supposedly our room. We rang the number again and somebody picked up, he gave us completely different code numbers for the key safes and confirmed we were in the right room, but was more concerned that we put the master key back rather than giving us any kind of apology. So all in all extremely worrying and frustrating seeing as I was there to take an exam the next day as well!

Lovely room, good location, friendly team.
Location. Dog friendly. En-suite room. Room was clean. Coffee was good. Manager was super helpful and very kind.
Breakfast menu wasn’t very interesting so we didn’t bother. Room had a big damp patch in the bedroom ceiling. There was no hot water in the morning due to a boiler fault. They did fix it but only after I had a cold shower. Cafe floor was really dirty.

Great B&B with wonderful staff
Staff we fantastic and the breakfast was lovely. They should do a bigger breakfast though as it was delicious!
Good sized rooms. Clean. Modern. Nice bathrooms.

Adequate
Disappointed with the quality of the accommodation.
The beds and bedding were barely acceptable. I slept on top under my own blanket

Lack of care and attention
Smart, modern interior. Good towels and shower.
The milk was off, so night time and early morning drink was ruined. No cafe on a Monday not mentioned in advert/listing. Dirty cups in room.

Disappointing!
Breakfast was a complete farce. A knock on our room door to inform us that our booked time for breakfast would be a half an hour late - apparently because the coffee machine had not been turned on!
No cereals - I had to ask for fruit juice.
The menu to choose from was their daily snack menu - the nearest item we could get to a breakfast was avocado on toast.
Wash basin in en suite had only a hot water supply to it.
Cold water for teas/coffee was provided by bottled water.

Very comfortable stay, excellent breakfast. Good location for Ridgeway Walk.
Very good breakfast and excellent coffee. Very comfortable bed and lots of space in our room. Staff very friendly.

Manager should stay at another hotel to see where changes are needed
Quite modern and free parking
Had a room stat - did nothing. We’re literally cooked.
Nice breakfast but given we had to say in advance that when we might like breakfast , having to wait 25 minutes for a nice but a little overpriced breakfast was not good. Meant we were late for an appointment.
Room we had which was a double was so small. No where to go outside of room when we arrived.

Very pleasant place to land! Comfortable bed, exceptionally clean. Lovely café too.
Very clean room, comfortable bed and nice amenities. Easy self check-in with thorough instructions. Great coffee!
Noise carries a lot between rooms; another guest had the TV on all night. An 11am checkout time would have been great rather than 10am (we were late night arrivals).

Be prepared
Location and parking allocation were good
aspects of the room fell short of the expectation, decor was nice but mixed with water damaged ceiling and walls thin enough I could hear people breathing in the adjacent room meant I woke up as people came and left the property. Every movement from other residents was amplified 10 fold.

A very pleasant stay
Clean comfortable room with relaxing decor. Lovely bathroom with large walk in shower and toiletries. Tea/coffee facilities with fresh milk in a fridge in the hallway. And a bottle of water in the room as well was an extra bonus (not many places provide this) I didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on the food.
Can’t think of anything.

Good hotel, great staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of thought had gone into the design of the hotel rooms, which were excellent
Hotel is on a slightly noisy road

Beautiful and comfy accommodation
Lovely BnB with comfotable and beautiful accomodation and lovely breakfast area. Perfect gor overnighting and private with lockbox access. If i had more time i would have explored the lovely chinnor countryside
If you want dinner you will need to go to one of the nearby pubs or restaurants. There is a small green nightlight if that bothers you bring an eye-mask

Nothing all was good.

Soulless refurbed pub with small rooms.
Recently refurbished, having once been a pub, the rooms are freshly decorated. Breakfast was good
Room was small…. Little space left with a double bed in place. Heating-cooling system didn’t work. En suite compact, sink with wrong sized plug. Bed only ok, and room stuffy and warm at night. Main issue was the need to drive to find something to eat in the evening…. Not great for backpack walkers. No communal space available after 5pm when the cafe closes. Breakfast an extra £12 each felt a bit steep.

Unfortunately disappointed
Lovely design building and very clean
Drip outside the green room is loud , wakes you up at around 530am , and there is no escape from it it literally is torture.
The staff at breakfast are awkward , it's a very bizzare and an uncomfortable experience.
The WiFi is rubbish
My booking said there was wine for guests and a bath and shower , but there was only a shower.
I get the impression the owner is new to this game so they need to up there game and fast

Comfortable and conveniently located accommodation for business trips to the area
It was our second visit. Very comfortable and I loved the decor in our room. We are looking forward to our next stay in September. Unfortunately we were unable to participate in breakfast as it started too late for us as our itinerary required us to be at our respective offices by 7:30am. The instructions on how to enter after hours, on arrival, were very clear and we had no problems accessing our room card and room. A well thought out arrivals process, and nice comfortable and interesting rooms with clean modern bathrooms that were a pleasure to come back to after a long day at the office.

Great diggs, clean & tidy, fan, TV,nice shower 👍🏼 would return 9/10....
Didn't use breakfast or cafe facility's.
Room was excellent...location a little bit away from chinnor but accessible with car...
Noise, room was next to wooden stairs, very noisy in the evening.....
Getting out off accommodation was dangerous as road had a sharp bend with cars flying round the corner .....mirror opposite was not of much use

We were going on the Chinnor railway the next day and it was an ideal place to stay
Comfie bed. Lots of hot water in the shower. Tea/coffee facilities, nice decor. Lovely people. Good breakfast.
Room a little small for 2 large people.

Pleasant enough hotel....
Fantastic hot shower and comfy bed. Clean and tidy. Good communications. Easy contactless check-in
Breakfast was not from 7.30am as advertised but from 8.00am. The chef was ill so only a dry breakfast was available. It didn't worry me but I expect it may have affected other guests. In the end, I couldn't wait until 8.00am and went to Waitrose instead.
I think describing it as 'luxury' is pushing it a bit. It's pleasant but there is noise from the road and the shower gel and soap are not anything special.

Excellent property
Room was very spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and very reasonable - surroundings first class.
Quaint little B&B with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
Spotlessly clean. Beautiful location. Check in was as simple as calling when I was 20 mins away. No hassle.
I think calling a kettle a “coffee maker” is a bit misleading. Having said that, the coffee bags provided were surprisingly decent.

They really need to sort out check-in on arrival
Good location, room clean and freshly decorated
Arrival was very poor. No one there to sort check in. Doors and windows open to property but no staff evident. I used the PIN code to access the key safe but nothing in it. Made 3 phone calls to the hotel phone number on Booking.com. Apparently this was the number of the old manager who no longer worked there! He said someone would call me back, they didn’t, then a woman who lived down the road was going to come…Eventually a member of staff arrived, saying he had called me (he hadn’t) and then asked me where I had got the number I’d called. It really wasn’t a great welcome!
The room when we eventually got in was very tiny, so not great value for the cost paid.

Wonderful BnB let down by a poor night's sleep.
Loved the decor of the room - it was modern and clean. It had good tea/coffee facilities and biscuits. The location was good and it was easy to find. Easy check-in and check-out. Good parking option.
Didn't sleep well at all because of the bed, which was the only let down (yet a significant one).
The bed in room 11 was terrible - it constantly creaked and I mean, loud enough to wake up my spouse from the smallest movement. It would have been comical if it wasn't so disruptive.
There was also a little green light that was constantly on and that lit the room up, which made it difficult to sleep.
Found the mattress far too soft, so woke up with a sore back - but appreciate mattress softness is subjective.

Great accommodation for a short stay.
Location was ideal for our purpose with lots of local pubs and restaurants.
The room was very warm and could have benefited from an AC unit. The accommodation was very clean and other than the temperature very comfortable.

Friendly, hospitable, basic.
Room was a good size , quirky decorations but no worse for that. Pillows too unyielding. Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of teas and coffee, and fresh milk and water in a fridge on the landing. A nice vibe about the place.
Only one towel. Pillows were all too unyielding: a mix needed. TV couldn’t be heard without the neighbours knocking on the wall to complain. Very hot night: electric fan (noisy) but no aircon. No bar: we got in at 10.00pm and all was done, downstairs.

Comfortable. Friendly staff.
Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Nice decor.
Free coffee with breakfast was very nice.
Breakfast, although nice, was a little limited in choice, with very few vegan options.
No traditional English breakfast available, although the bacon and sausage toasted sandwich was very nice.

Nice rooms, perfect for an overnight stay.
Clean, quiet, comfy and well equipped room with easy access. Good bathroom and shower.
Breakfast wasn’t included in price which was quite high. My key card opened a room that wasn’t mine when i went to wrong door by mistake!
