We went to a wedding. Needed a place near the venue for 2 nights. It was spacious, private, clean and retained quaint and historic features while having all modern conveniences.
A free standing full length mirror in the hallway would be a great addition as the space makes an ideal dressing area. If not possible to put one there, the fireplace against the chimney breast would also work.

Very clean and comfortable
Tricky to find but clear instructions were given so just have to follow them.

Good location in the centre of the village and good parking
No staff, and the room was way too hot but there was no way to turn the temperature down and the windows were locked shut. Fittings also quite cheap - the bathroom towel rail kept falling off.
