Excellent room, wonderful host and superb breakfast

excellent breakfast beautifully presented , all fresh and delivered to the room on time.

A very minor slight niggle is that It would have been nice to eat breakfast in a dining room rather than our room . The weather was a bit windy during our stay so we could not eat in the outdoor dining area.

Excellent B&B with wonderful host and would be happy to return again

Very friendly and welcoming host. Wonderful breakfast in our lovely spacious and comfortable room with balcony and sea view. Large shower and big fluffy towels. Every detail catered for with kettle, coffee making machine, drinks, snacks, fridge with milk etc. Would highly recommend, and be happy to return again.

This boutique B&B is an absolute find. Immaculate and attention to detail in every possible aspect. Quality of bed linen, towels (smell gorgeous). Beautifully decorated. Plenty of electric sockets (especially by a mirror) & USB ports. Beautiful light up mirror in the bathroom. Quality products. Wine in the room at a reasonable charge and nice wine! Lovely balcony and throws provided for chilly evenings. Breakfast served in the bedroom was exceptional. Jan was an excellent hostess and nothing was too much trouble.

5* luxury boutique B&B which has blown away with the standards and friendly owner Jan

We were totally blown away with the standards at the Headland, the quality of the furniture and fixtures are incredible and Jan the owner is just amazing! Nothing is too much trouble, she is so friendly and helpful and made our stay so special it was like staying at a friend’s house as nothing was too much trouble. The facilities in the room are amazing and it’s the little touches Jan provides like complementary water and soft drinks and the coffee machine has a milk frothing attachment, and the best bit was Jan served breakfast in our room which was great and even served us in a sea view room on two of the three morning’s as we had booked a room with no view. We will definitely be back, thanks Jan for making our trip so memorable you are doing an amazing job xx

Wonderful, relaxing and pampering trip

Beautiful B&B, it was a lovely little bit of luxury. All the extra touches, breakfast in our room, mini bar, robes, slippers, gorgeous smelling toiletries. Large bed, thick fluffy towels and much much more. The view was spectacular, we loved siting on the balcony watching the world go by. Jan was a super host and Courtney was so friendly. We would highly recommend a visit.

Felt Like Home – With 5-Star Comfort & Thoughtful Touches

Jan and Adam are fantastic hosts, we felt nearly at home from the moment we arrived. The old house has been beautifully restored with exceptional attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amazing fresh scent of the bed linen and towels was such a treat, something you rarely find in hotels. The freshly prepared breakfast was plentiful and well-balanced, and it can even be served in your room upon request. Jan clearly has an eye for the little touches, from a special hair towel to makeup remover cloths, and even sleep masks. The room includes a coffee machine, a milk frother and a fridge with plenty of drinks. Everything was spotless, making it the perfect place to relax and feel at ease. Adam and Jan were so nice, friendly and helpful, the perfect hosts! All in all, a truly wonderful experience! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely amazing!!

Our stay here for our mini moon was exceptional! The room was immaculate, so much attention to detail. The bed was super comfy and we had a beautiful view of the sea with a lovely balcony to enjoy! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, again attention to detail and great quality. Jan and Adam were truly amazing, so friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous b&b!

Everything, this Boutique B & B is all you need for a great holiday.The bed is so comfy ,the bathroom is immaculate. It is also spotlessly clean & the attention to detail - they have thought of everything . Breakfast is brought to your room- which is delicious BOOK THIS B&B you will not regret it.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, many cool quirky items spread across the room (pair of binoculars and TV had inbuilt DVD player- the hotel has an incredible collection of DVDs). The view was spectacular. Hosts were some of the best. So kind and accommodating. Jan and Adam- you are both stars, wish you all the best with the hotel and future. It deserves all the hype and more ❤️

A great boutique B&B in a stunning location. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We were provided with everything we could have needed, including some luxurious little touches and a well-stocked mini-bar. Our hosts, Jan and Adam, were friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay memorable.

Fabulous stay in an excellent hotel.

This hotel was fabulous. We stayed 2 nights. We stayed in a king room ,sea view with balcony. The room was ensuite. This was a second floor room with a beautiful sea view. The room was beautifully furnished. The en-suite was great. The room was spotless. We had breakfast served in our room it was a lovely, very well done breakfast. Our hosts were extremely warm, welcoming, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We had a lovely stay in this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. It’s a real gem and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic B&B

Fantastic B&B, would definitely recommend staying here. The decor, cleanliness and attention to detail are second to none. The owners, Jan and Adam are such lovely and friendly people. The food is brilliant, with a wide range of choice available. Lots of nice little touches, such as, wine, pod coffee machine, eye sleep mask and a chamomile tea bag to help you drift off! A wonderful balcony with fantastic views. Close to shops and even the funicular railway down to Oddicombe beach. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent location, stunning view, easy parking, lovely room in a beautiful house, delicious breakfast and most importantly David is a superb host. Very warm welcome. Also there is an excellent gym nearby called ‘One Fitness’.

We booked a sea view room with balcony. The views were fantastic. The room was fully equipped, clean, and beatitfuly decorated. Dave was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him, always checking in to make sure we were ok or needed anything. Gave us water bottles for our journey home. Sometimes, it's the little things that count. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Dave for a lovely weekend stay.

Amazing place to stay!

We had an amazing time staying in the property. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very welcoming. The service holistically was amazing. If we ever decide to visit Devon again we will come back to the place. It is good value for money and highly recommended. Thank you David for the wonderful service!
