Great value for money hotel in good location.

Found this hotel quite by accident and I fell lucky. The hotel is beautifully presented, spotless everywhere with great food a well stocked bar (with reasonable prices) a pool and a hot tub (Bookable at no additional charge). If you fancy a night in there's loads of free games all in a very nice lounge area. The two owners who run it are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make their guests stay an enjoyable experience. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

Some bulbs had gone in light fittings. Need to be replaced. Just a pet hate of mine. Bar didn't open till 12.30. 12pm would be better as residents by pool were ready for drinks as it was very sunny and hot.

A Lovely clean and comfortable stay with a great breakfast beautifully cooked with plenty of choice.There is an outside pool and jacuzzi in a private and well maintained garden. Fantastic service from the owners who can’t do enough for you. Parking too.

An excellent family run hotel.

Breakfast was varied and good with good service. The bar area was very relaxing and the outdoor pool area was amazing; it could have been in Spain apart from tbf weather. All in all, we enjoyed it immensely. Nicki and John , the owners, were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay, and that of other guests, very pleasant. We would stay again.

The hosts were superb - friendly and professional made you feel at home. The overall facility from staff to ambience had a "one felt as part of a community" feel to it. Simply the best!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Everywhere was impeccably clean; all of the staff were friendly, polite and courteous and the breakfast was really good. In particular, I would like to single out the attention given to my wife to ensure her dietary requirements were met; she is vegan, and at other places where we have stayed, the catering in this regard has not always been of a good standard. This was most certainly not the case here: the staff went out of their way to ensure that she was provided for every bit as well as the meat-eating guests. I would recommend this hotel without the slightest hesitation, and we certainly intend to make a return visit.

Brilliant Hotel

Lovely clean hotel management couldn't have been more helpful to us.asked for another night as train home was cancelled they were more than happy to help out. Food was excellent and pool and garden area was spot on. Will definitely stay again in the future. Thanks again John and nikki.

Great stay in Torquay

Location was great and great option to park the car. The staff were really welcoming and helpful they gave us some ideas on places to visit and were really knowledgeable. Breakfast was really good and the room was extremely clean. Would definitely recommend

Room was small but then we booked a compact double only gripe is that plug sockets were all over one side apart from that room was exceptionally clean and well stocked with tea/coffee . Breakfast was very nice , lots of choices and the staff went out of their way for me as I am gluten free .

The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was fantastic and the pool and jacuzzi were great to relax in, as was the bar in the evening. The staff were very warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Had an amazing stay at this family run hotel, the service was impeccable, the rooms were comfortable and spotless. They have a really nice pool area in the garden very quiet and relaxing and a good selection of music playing. The breakfast was nice and clean with a large selection. To anyone who’s looking for a relaxing hotel in a good location in Torquay this is the place.

Outstanding!

2nd time around and I must say John and Nicki couldn't do enough for us, just as before. The customer service was extremely attentive. The Hotel is an amazing place that is spotlessly clean, it boasts a beautiful heated outside pool and Spa.The bed was very comfortable and the location was close to the harbour. Perfect! See you very soon.

Not so much a dislike but I would say if you are with older people a car is adviced if they struggle to walk but a taxi is cheap and they are really welcoming

Located on a hill (but that's Torquay),but only 10 mins walk to the front.lovely hotel with amazing pool and garden area.very good breakfast.small bathroom in the room,but modern and a great shower.comfortable bed.staff we're very friendly and helpful.

A bit bigger room and bathroom would have been perfect,but all tolerable.A little bit more room for parking but again tolerable.A very enjoyable stay
