Old fashioned but very homely

Shower didn’t work well old type shower

fantastic breakfast cereal to start then full english with coffee or tea and orange juice the room was very clean and tidy coffee and tea making facilitys were in the room and the bed was very comfy

on my first night at 12 o clock i was woken by someone standing in my room i didnt see who it was cos they had just woken me up the lock on the door does not lock from the inside i was told that they are not allowed to incase of a fire

Everything. It suited my needs perfectly. I would stay again. Thank you 😃

Good location near the high street and everything is close by, the pool looked nice and clean

Parking not signed very well, in car park there was a sign Marked entrance which was locked and no instructions were given on or around door or on booking site, me and my disabled partner were then forced to walk on uneven tarmac around to the front to find the front door locked as well even though we arrived at 3pm. We questioned the receptionist (owner I think) who seemed to take it as an accusation and just mentioned about security for the hotel quite bluntly so we left it alone. The layout inside is confusing and looked like stepping into the 70s. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in and hurt a bit due to the old springs. We found old tupperware with food residue in the wardrobe and no fan provided during a heatwave. We had contacted the hotel prior to stay to request extra pillows due my partner's disability but the bed had the standard two each. We also asked for an accessible room which we were assured we would have but nothing about the room was accessible. Luckily we didn't need an accessible bathroom I just wanted to limit how much walking my partner had to do incase her legs where having a bad day. In terms of the lift to get to our room you would have to take one lift, walk down the hallway, then take another followed by another walk. The lifts also aren't that well signed posted. I am unsure if any of that counts as accessible counts and while we could have said something we where only their one night and spent most of our time out of the hotel sightseeing. The breakfast was nice but once again very dated and no menus so you had to know what you wanted in advance. Servers were happy to chit chat across our table to each other interrupting our own conversation and the food came out suspiciously fast, 30-40 seconds for a full English (that's what they called it anyway).
