Brilliant staff , will go the extra mile for you , food excellent, very friendly hotel

No breakfast provided we only like cereal and fruit for breakfast but no where in resort could we get this hotel should provide light breakfasts Also would be better to have walk.in shower than shower over bath as difficult for older people to step into bath, resort caters more for older age group

Excellent Hotel with amazing views

The daily roast meals were excellent and good value for money. The bedroom was very spacious with amazing views. The Staff were very helpful and thought the fruit juice, flapjack and muffins left in room for breakfast a lovely idea and much qppreciated will certainly come back.

Lovely location and really clean. Good to have parking although I know not guaranteed.

Just a small niggle....ate in the hotel on the first night. Very generous portion which took a while to eat. The waitress asked if we would like a dessert and we said could she come back.......when she eventually did we said no but I asked for coffee only to be told the coffee machine closed at 8.00pm......it would have been nice to have been told this earlier !

Beautiful location

The location is perfect and the hotel is just what we needed. Large comfortable rooms with everything you need. The food if you eat in, which I would recommend is amazing and great value.

The shower in our room was nice and big but very low water pressure so not great, especially for my wife washing her hair.

Very enjoyable. We loved Babbacome, with stunning views, friendly people and plenty of restaurants

The room was big, with very comfortable large bed.Walk in shower in the en-suite . All very clean. Ample storage including a huge wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Dressing table with large mirror.A stunning bay window with a table and two comfy chairs looking over Babbacombe bay and the downs. Tea making tray. Juice, muffins,flapjacks and biscuits provided daily if needed.

A pleasant hotel in a lovely location, with a woeful breakfast

The room had a good view and the bathroom was tastefully decorated. There was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and the bed was comfortable.

The room was very small, and felt quite cramped. The choice of tea and coffee provided was extremely limited. The bathroom was cold, although the heated towel rail was switched on after the first night. The shower cubicle itself was very small. My husband and I are both slim build and found it cramped. Also the water pressure was insufficient to be able to wash my hair and the shower head was leaking, which didn't help. I was shocked to find that the 'breakfast' included in the price consisted of a sellophane wrapped muffin, flapjack and a small bottle of juice. This was delivered the day before breakfast so the fruit juice was warm. We were told we go to the cafe next door, where we could have a nice breakfast!

The room was beautifully clean with a very comfortable bed and an extra heater for if we got cold in the evenings, which was very useful.

We knew when we booked that breakfast was to be a muffin and flapjack, but were disappointed by the quality of the food provided.

Good locatio but a mixed experience

Great location, clean, large room (kingsize). Pleasant, friendly staff.

Fittings quality was poor - the toilet seat did not lift properly and there was a leak - from the shower base? - that led to a trail of water. Mattress rather soft and unduly springy. Slightly overpriced for the overall experience. Carvery meat and potatoes were fine but the vegetables were overdone.
