Hooome

The room was very clean with two comfy separate beds, which was ideal for my son and me. Bathroom was spacious with a good shower. Breakfast was every day nicely prepared by Sondra. The position was very practical, close to tram and bus stops, which made going into town or elsewhere very easy. Furthermore there are plenty of good dining options in the neighbourhood.

All was fine

This is a well managed hotel. My room was cozy, with a comfortable bed. I appreciated that I had a full size desk to work from home a bit. Everything was immaculately clean. The bathroom was great, elegantly furnished with a walk-in shower and decent hot water pressure (not to be granted in this part of the town). I never met the hosts in person, but they were highly communicative before I got to the accommodation, and also during my whole stay. The location was great for my travel purposes, and must suit most travelers: the immediate neighborhood (the Chatelain) is full of fun (bars, restaurants, brasseries), and you can easily get to the touristic parts or the EU quarter from the tram and bus stops in the very vicinity of the hotel.

The rooms are upstairs, and the staircase is a bit steep and narrow - that's Brussels style. But if you are traveling with huge suitcases, or you have some disabilities, you should consider this. Also, there are no physical keys to open the hotel gate or your room, but you have to memorize numerical codes. I think these codes are unnecessarily long and complicated.

Very efficient personnel. Doors work via codes.

The building is somewhat old so not really sound proof.

Good location for public transportation to center of the city

It is not a hotel. It is more like Airbnb self-check-in and out places. The place is old.
