Pleasant stay in Brussels

Friendly welcome. Great location right off Avenue Louise, near Place Stephanie, so it is well connected to public transportation and within walking distance of interesting neighbourhoods. The room was surprisingly large, and the bathroom was well equipped.

Decor is a bit outdated. We couldn’t control the temperature in the room, and it was rather warm at night. There was a noticeable “dislevel” between the two mattresses which made up our bed.

Brilliant hotel in beautiful location

Everything was perfect! Beautiful location, the room was spacious with huge very comfortable bed, lovely marble bathroom all spotlessly clean. Less than 10 min walk to tube and tram stop 2 mins away. WiFi, TV and nespresso machine all good too. Would def return to this hotel again!

Poor hotel but good location

It’s was clean and very convenient location to commit to the city centre

The room looked very outdated, tv was small, bathroom required renovation. We got paper cups instead of the normal one, small coffee machine and few coffee capsules, that’s it.

Very good value for your money, nice room, location and breakfast

The room was nice and clean. There was no noise. The breakfast was also adequate for the price and the location was perfect for us. Overall the hotel was very good value for the money.

The elevator was really tight but I do not think this is a big issue.

rich and varied breakfast buffet (some more plant-based proteins would be nice, though), very friendly staff, generous room size, a bathtub, quiet location, but within a few minutes walking from trams and metros.

there's a nespresso-style coffee machine in the rooms, which has a hot water function, but no tea bags

The room was not at all like the one shown on booking page and definitely not worth 319€/ 2 nights

Location

The room (#252) was terrible and the bathroom, the mattress was destroyed and painful, the photos on the booking page are not representative at all, they show a refurbished/ renovated room but the one I stayed it was from the 1980's or something. This is very deceptive and not transparent. Also access to the room was bad, many corridors to walk through.

Not too bad, but not 'wow' either

Spacious room in a hotel located in between a fancy shopping street at one end and at the other end a local neighbourhood. Hotel has a parking garage at a reasonable fee for a big city.

In particular compared to the ample space of the room, the bathroom, although everything's there, was really tiny. Next to this, and this is personal, we don't like soft matrasses and a room where the windows cannot be opened (in particular when there's no airconditioning). The furniture looked a bit worn. Overall, in our opinion, not 4 stars

Area very nice. Main shopping street and all the known brands are there. Good access to city centre. Room nice and I'm an adept of hotel sleeper. Reception of the hotel v nice and the lift super cool.

The state of the room was quite bad, very old, lots of wear and tear. The level of cleanliness was poor, hairs and grime. The hotel was in good shape but not the room. The breakfast was very expensive 22euros pp that's why we didn't choose it.

Worn down hotel that would need some refresh work

Large room in a convenient position for Avenue Louise

Carpets looked old and not really clean, small date d bathroom with a claustrophobic bathtub. Mattrass was not the most Comfortable. Limited choice of fruit for breakfast.

Uncomfortable

We couldn’t sleep because of the rash. When we cover our self’s to sleep couldn’t went to sleep like 3 hours due to rash. We both eat different things so it can not happen because of the food. And we had rush only in bed. Staff informed but did not even responded well.

Good location and good staff

Had a room first night where a huge light went off a midnight and woke me up from a deep sleep. The person at the desk tried but could t do anything . This was really a horrible experience. I got Ives to a new room at 1 am- had to pick and move myself. The second room was tiny and the toilet was so small - I knew my husband would t fit in ( he was coming g the next day. The staff was nice to move me again to another room which was comfortable. This room, however had no hot water . I told them twice but it never got fixed. The staff was great considering all of this but the room with the light was horrible ! The third room had a coffee pot - finally. Every room should have one. Plus tea. Also, the TVs are small and not Smart TVs which is very old.

Good location, clean room the hotel met my expectations

The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is around 10 mins walk from the subway. There are also cafes, restaurants nearby the hotel. The room was very clean and met my expectations. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment on that.

The demolition next to the hotel is not as scary as it looks, if you are not in the hotel until 5pm then you do not anything to worry about. The hotel management did all the early warnings, thanks to them I was not surprised.

It was hot in Brussels and there isn’t A/C in the room and for safety reasons we couldn’t open the window so the room looks like a stove, it was difficult to sleep and stay in the room

Mold in rooms

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and we had a carousel of experiences. The first night we received a room (502) with mold. We changed the room (507) in the morning but in the evening when we came back we realized the mold and the smell were unbearable. At 11 pm we change again the room and we received a very hot room (702) with also hat damaged walls because of water infiltration. At least this room did not smell and we could get some rest. In the morning we changed the room again to the family room( 503) . This last room was clean and with no smell and we stayed for the rest of the reservation here. Also in 507 the fridge outlet did not work and our food got rotten. We received 2 free breakfasts one for the food and one for the molded rooms. The service at the reception was fine even if we were treated as if we made a scandal for nothing. Also, there is no air conditioner (you only get a cooler that is no actually cooling the room) and the breakfast is a bit too expensive (22euros) for what you get. The location is fine, it is not quiet during week days because of the near construction site but at least it is close to the city center and train stations. Overall we liked Belgium but we do not recommend Bruxelles.

Unfortunately there was demolition going on right next to the hotel. So it was noisy.

Very conveniently located. Well sized room.

Despite booking and paying in full for our accommodation two months before arriving, and despite the hotel not being overly full at the time of our stay, we were put in a room directly above the main entrance door - surely one of the noisiest rooms in the hotel :( My friend who has stayed at the hotel before also commented on this being a vastly inferior room to the renovated rooms higher up in the building where she had stayed previously :(

Exceptional

The property was good and at commutable distance from city center. The staff was awesome and very helpful. A special shout out to IRENA at front desk, to go above and beyond to make sure we have confortable stay. My daughter forgot her small bag in tram and Irena was a big help there.
