one of my favorite moderately priced hotels in Brussels.

situated within 5 minute walking distance from 2 metro stations. The room (double in annex building) was comfortable and clean. Perfect if you are looking for a place to just sleep.

Lovely hotel at a good price

This hotel was fantastic for us. We were travelling with our 11 month old baby. A cot was provided in our room as requested. The reception staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. There was a stand in reception with leaflets for attractions in the area. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle and mini fridge in the room and the room was very nicely decorated. There was air conditioning heating/cooling in the room. The hotel is located in walking distance of the centre and close to public transport too. We did not have breakfast in the hotel however it smelt really nice as we passed the breakfast room in the morning.

Clean but not confortable due to lack of noise isolation windows

Cleanliness: the room was very clean and tidy.

The room was located in a different building and had to actually get out of the lobby and walk outside but the most inconvenient thing was that the windows are very old with no noise isolation making it very hard to rest at night. You could hear every car and group of people partying nearby.

Recommended for solo travelers

Hotel is located in ixelles, which is the old town of brussels so it is a very safe neighbourhood. Just within the neighbourhood there is a good bakery around. Staff are always present and helpful.

Room is a tad too small to open luggage fully, so in case you're bringing a big lugguage it maybe a problem.

Great stay!

Great location and staff! We also got upgraded to a more spacious room.

The only downside for us was that we couldn’t close the curtains properly (they were very tall) and the room wouldn’t be very dark.

Two nights stay with children

Staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was great (highlights to their own made bread). Overall cleanliness was great. The location is great, near metro/tram/bus stops. There was an elevator to go to higher floors.

Once was enough

It was close to the place I was interested in and in the city center

It was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Although the receptionist was friendly, he didn’t inform me that the electricity was activated by a card, so I spent the first night without electricity. The room was so dark that I couldn’t even see the energy saver. That was my mistake, but some information in advance would have been great. I had booked two rooms, and each was in a different building, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description. I also paid a tourist tax, which I couldn’t find listed as an extra charge, although I’m not 100% sure about that. The bathroom had a shower curtain that was completely moldy, and the mirror in the room was quite dirty as well. The mattress on the single bed was so soft that I was afraid if I turned over during the night, it would bounce me right onto the floor. :)) The price-to-value ratio was terrible. The location is fine

Excellent location and really nice staff!

I was pleasantly surprised that my room was upgraded to a bigger one. The staff was very nice and friendly. The receptionist in the morning was very professional and nice, the afternoon one very helpful, and the night/early morning one was truly a cool guy (great music in the morning!). The room was spacious and clean. Large bathroom! Excellent location (central but quiet, walking distance to the city centre, less than 100m from the Comet conference venue) and really nice staff! 10/10

Good value for money

Very big and comfortable room (and bathroom!) with a small patio/balcony, which was a very nice surprise!

The reading light wasn't good at all. The room was also quite quiet, facing the inner yard of the building, but only if there was nobody in the adjacent room, since you could hear quite clearly the TV and if someone speaking on the phone.

The room next door had a young baby that cried a lot during the nights. A quieter room would have been better. This was however not the hotel's fault.

I didn’t get much sleep, the room was too hot. The toilet didn’t work properly.

The room was too hot and there was no air conditioning. There was noise from cars almost all night. The breakfast options were decent but not good for the price. My toilet didn’t flush properly so I kept having to call someone up or waste time trying to fix it on my own

Not expensive hotel with breakfast, walking distance to main attractions

The room was spacious (I stayed at the hotel extension). Breakfast was ok - fruit, muffins, pancakes, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, ham, cheese, some vegs, yoghurt, etc. Very basic and the same every day but it will do the job for a short stay. The bathroom was clean, the towels were changed daily. The was kettle and some tea bags in the room (not black tea, some lemon/herbs ones), cups and spoons. There was also a little fridge but I was not sure if it was working. I did lots of walking to main attractions of the city so this hotel is a good choice if you like walking and are not planning to commute. Supermarkets and shops not so far away.

The hotel booked extra deposit on my card in case I cause any damage etc. - if I remember correctly it was €100. It was not 100% clear for me ahead of the stay that this would happen. I came across this practice but in a fancy expensive hotels but this one isn't really like that. The money was not charged but for those who are planning to stay there, just keep it in mind. The street isn't loud but depending on the weather (I stayed in early January) keep in mind that they are not the best quality. Also, for those who plan to stay in the summer, my room did not have air-condidtioning. Coffee machine at breakfast lobby had powder creamer so definitely not for those who are crazy about coffee.

When I asked, I was told that I had to specifically tell the reception to change them - never heard of this before and I've travelled to many places The breakfast was very limited - I would have expected better options The room was way too dim There was no milk in the room for coffee

Value for money, close to center

- Really nice location, not exactly in the city centre but close to all the shops. - Room was really nice and hot during all day. - They were coming and changing towels in the room every morning, something that really gain extra points.

- We were left without toilet paper 2 days, but as soon as we let the receptionist know about it, they gave us some and apologize for that. - Room cleaning could be better, for example when we first entered the room we found dust and rubbish underneath the bed.
