Fabulous apartment with Breathtaking views of Kotor bay with warm welcoming hosts

Our amazing hosts warmly welcomed us with information, cake and beer and were on hand throughout our stay. The apartment was well equipped, extremely clean with plenty of towels and regularly changed bed linen. The apartment was spacious with a fabulous shower. The balcony provides area for relaxing with stunning views of Kotor bay

Wouldn’t go again.

The location was good.

It was not really clean. In the bathroom there was a leakage. We forgot an expensive charger in the room. We tried to contact the owner to ask to send us the charger by cargo and we pay for the costs. He doesn’t reply anymore. I find this really unprofessional since it can happen that people forget something.

Friendly host and great location!

A lovely, welcoming host who took time to share with us some tips and recommendations and even brought us some post arrival beers! The parking was a huge bonus as nowhere in the old town can offer this. It was far enough out of the centre to avoid the crazy traffic jams when arriving and leaving the property but still easy walking distance (10 mins) to get into the city walls during our stay. Close to the beach and restaurants/bars.

Nothing. The walk back from the old town is uphill (approx 15 mins) but this is to be expected and gives great views in return!

Honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this place or the hosts, would definitely come back here again!

The place was exactly like the pictures, view from the balcony was surreal felt like a movie scene every time I looked out the window. The hosts were so lovely bought us drinks and snacks on arrival and made sure we knew the best tourist spots/ beaches/ food places to go visit. They cleaned our room half way through the stay and provided us with shower towels. The apartment was a great location being 10 min walk into Kotor old town and a 4 min walk to the beach.

Incredible views with fantastic hosts

The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed. The view from the balcony was amazing to wake up to in the morning. The owners of the property were very kind and welcoming, giving me a cold beer when I arrived and home baking both days. All the main attractions were a short walk away.

Great Location, Amazing view, Lovely hosts!

2 couples, 2 rooms: The hosts were so friendly and kind. They let us check in early and gave us a nice cold beer. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing, just as its name suggests. We will definitely stay here again.

Though we read some negative reviews about the apartment, the experience was worse than we expected. This was the worst

Swarms of ants invaded the unit we stayed, lots of big ones with wings, some were flying in the bathroom. There were heaps of big ants too marching outside of the building. Despite the owner tried to solve the problem, the ants still came into the unit the next day though it's not as bad as the first day. We noticed the surrounding of the apartment has not been up kept well. There were unwanted hardwares being dumped at the corner outside of the unit we stay. The apartment inside was untidy as well, with many floor mats spreading almost everywhere, wires hung in air around the TV and the TV wasn't working either, the kitchen was pretty untidy, the design of the bathroom in the unit is poor. Though we got nice view from the balcony, the apartment is located right at the side of the busy main road, so it's noisy.

Great visit with amazing host!

The property was clean and wonderful. The view from the room and balcony was amazing. The host couple were amazing, super friendly people with great advice on local places to visit. The place is close to the shore, very lovely walk to the old town. The apartment has all the required equipment in working condition. I highly recommend staying at Bay view apartments if visiting Kotor.

A well-equipped studio with a stunning bay view, warm hospitality, and a great location

We spent a few days in a small but very functional studio in Dobrota, near Kotor. This was a sightseeing trip, and the place met our expectations 100%. The studio was clean and well-equipped – the kitchen had everything needed for cooking (electric stove plate, microwave, kettle, dishes, etc.), and the bedroom had air conditioning and external shutters. The biggest advantage was the terrace attached to the bedroom, offering a beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor – a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The host was exceptionally hospitable – right after our arrival, we were offered beer and Coke (according to our preferences), along with a homemade pastry. A few days later, we received another delicious treat (probably priganice). The host also recommended several interesting places to visit in Kotor. The property has private parking, which is a big plus. To access it, you need to turn earlier into a steep side street (when driving from Kotor), but we didn’t find it to be a problem. The location is great – just a few minutes' walk to the bay and to Kotor. I definitely recommend this place – it's perfect for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings, with a warm, home-like atmosphere.

The only minor downside could be the main road next to the terrace – it can get noisy during rush hours. However, in the evening it was quiet, and we had no trouble falling asleep. It might be helpful to have some sort of a sign visible not only from the main street but also from the driveway.

Perfect

It was my best booking experience. From the moment Beşir Aga welcomed us, he was very clear and friendly about everything. Every detail in the house had been thoughtfully considered. They also treated us to a traditional delicacy, which was a lovely touch. The view from the balcony and the location being close to the center were major advantages. The bed was absolutely comfortable. If you want to wake up to a unique view after a good night’s sleep, this place is definitely the right choice.

Very good option with amazing view!

The view is amazing - the direct sight at the lake. The balcony was present and the view was amazing, as I said earlier. The apartment was clean overall. The best thing about this accommodation is the staff - two very pleasant hosts made the stay a really special one.

Great stay with a perfect view.

Wonderful view. Becir Aga made our stay very comfortable. The room is wide enough, clean like 5 stars. The view is wonderful. Near to everywhere, (old town, supermarket, mall, shore). There is not any option for hotel in the old town, apartments are most common.

My last night, the weather was stormy and soundproof was not enough.

Superb

We had a very warm welcome, with beers and freshly baked cakes. The host was very kind and gave us suggestions on what to do and where to eat in Kotor. The apartment was comfortable and clean with a lovely balcony and a wonderful view to the bay. The kitchen was well equipped.

The water from the shower overflowed and wet the entire floor everytime we had a bath. The apartment is located on a busy street, so it could be noisy. The payment had to be in cash.

Bad

I booked an apartment in this property for two days and despite the fact that I confirmed my arrival time between 15:00-16:00 and despite the ok message of the host , when we went to the property nobody was there . I texted the host , I called him but no answer . We were under the sun , pretty uncomfortable, I was shouting somebody to hear me but no answer . I texted him again . I called him again but guess what(!) no answer again . Finally we left , and we had to change our schedule because of him and of course to find another place to stay while it was late in the afternoon. I talked with booking and the customer service informed me that the host couldn’t host us anymore!!! After hours , around 11 o’clock in the evening , while we were having our drink in the old town of Kotor I received a message from him that he hadn’t received the messages and that the property was ready to host us . Wait , really ? And what about the calls he didn’t answer? Why so many lies ? He thinks that we are idiots ? He and booking.com caused me a big inconvenience and they believe that just a sorry is enough… I cannot accept his sorry whatever he writes below .

The check-in process but smooth and the room was clean. We especially liked the balcony! It was great to have on-site parking, although it was a bit hard to find.

Although the location of this apt is great, it does require a lot of walking uphill to get to/from Old Town. This wasn't a problem for us but is something to note.

Exceptional

The owner provided a very good welcome, recommending restaurants, routes to take etc. We had good laughs while chatting and he welcomed us with local beer. The view from the room is breathtaking as you can see the fabulous scenery of Kotor’s Bay, which is unique.

The address informed in Booking.com is not accurate and Waze sent us somewhere else nearby. I had to ring their number and got the proper directions.

Everything... the location, 4min by foot to the beach 15min by foot to the old town. Very very clean and equiped appartment with a stunning view ! A big thanks to the father and son who own those appartments for there welcome help and hospitality. One of the best I ever had.

It was a really great accomodation. Although we stayed just for one night, we enjoyed it. The host was very nice, friendly and open for conversation, gave us recommendations and was happy to have us there. The place was huge and clean, parking place, very close to the city center, shop close and an amazing view from the balcony

A relaxing stay

our favourite accommodation of the holiday. perfect location for a walk into old town. had a lovely coffee in the morning on the balcony with a super view. we also had delicious pastries from the bakery across the road. the host of this apartment was the kindest man , who couldn’t have been more helpful. we will definitely be returning.

Excellent stay in a great value apartment with incredible views

Bojan is an incredible host - super friendly, knowledgeable and a good waiter of his wife’s lovely baked treats. The apartment is only a short walk to the old town and the promenade and the view from the bedroom is truly wonderful. Excellent value apartment with all the necessary amenities and a great bakery just 250m down the road too.

Beyond Expectations

Everything was beyond our expectations including the amazing host Čeda, who was extremely kind and helpful and welcomed us with drinks! The place was spotless, spacious and comfortable with the amazing view of the Kotor Bay and everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! We would definitely recommend staying there!
