About this apartment rental
This renovated third floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with two full sized beds with a large 50" flat screen TV with HD TV service. The guest bedroom has a king size bed with a 38" flat screen TV with HD TV service. The master bathroom has a walk in shower and the guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The living room is equipped with a 55" flat screen TV with HD TV service for your enjoyment. The lovely spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and plenty of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. There is beautiful tile throughout the unit. The comfortably furnished patio allows you and your family to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

Unit was nice, well kept. Balcony view had an unfortunate electric pole transformer, somewhat obstructing the partial ocean view. On the east side of the property the buildings are showing some age. When asking the office for dishwasher detergent and kitchen paper towels, we were informed that they were not provided. Beach was clean and well taken care of, attendants with chairs were very good.

Palm Bay is a fantastic resort and the apartment was exactly as advertised.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Location was great; only a short walk down to the beach and many restaurants nearby. The gated community provided a safe environment. Only complaints we had were that the refrigerator wasn’t working when we got there and there were a few cockroaches during our stay. The front desk was very quick to address these concerns and send maintenance to our unit.

The unit smelled clean when we entered and seemed to be tidy. There is definite wear and tear and some of the furnishings are pretty dated. The second bedroom was very small and the curtains were so thin that the light from the hallway kept us up at night. The primary bedroom had very thin curtains as well. The bathrooms were extremely small. The tub/shower combo had some moldy tile at the bottom. There was a peek-a-boo view of the ocean but there was a large electrical pole blocking most of the view. The unit was very quiet, which was nice. Also, the grounds of the Palm Bay Club are kept nicely and the beach is very wide. Chairs were easy to get. Overall, the location to the beach and village are what makes this worth the money. The unit itself could use some love.
