Spacious, clean and great location for a family

New and clean apartment with 2 bedrooms and an upstairs lounge with fireplace. Full kitchen with dishwasher. 2 enclosed balconies with views. Excellent location near taxi rank and 2 blocks from centre of town and restaurants. Walk to angry birds park for play equipment and a great hill behind for sledding. Walk to tour company offices.

Would be good to have a manual for the washer and a dryer but it has a sauna and a drying room (downstairs bathroom). Everyone may need to go to bed at the same time or can be noisy because bedrooms are next to the lounge room and TV. Otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like and would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely apartment

Located just a short walk to the city centre. Split level apartment on the top floor with 2 rooms, living, dining and a toilet/bath areas on the lower level and sauna m large toilet/bathing facility on upper floor. Balconies on both levels facing each facing one side of the block. Kitchen was well equipped including dishwashing machine. Washing machine in the lower level toilet/bath. Close proximity to good eateries including Chinese and Korean restaurants.

Location not so easy to find initially as even Bolt driver had difficulty to find. Some furnishings (2 dining chairs) were already damaged on arrival.

Disappointing

Location.

For the steep price, you would imagine you'll get a clean apartment. The apartment smells "SMOKY" lingered for a long time ... I thought it was a non-smoking apartment. The sink looks filthy and pubic hair on the closet drawers. Also, there's no luggage storage. The trains in Rovaniemi arrives early in the morning. You would have thought someone considered that. I wasn't asking for anything but you would imagine paying a steep price you'll get what you paid for. Imagine if the consumer is at fault..they'll fine you for sure BUT if the apartment don't meet standards you'll get a SORRY for the inconvenience.

The appartment helped us to enjoy even more the visit in Rovaniemi.

We enjoyed the fact that the host was very thoughtful, he bought milk for coffee, tea, he prepared a sweet surprise and some wine to celebrate the arrival.

The floor doesn’t feel clean. Would be good to have a laundry dryer. It wasn’t clear to locate exactly the entrance of the apartment. It could be clearer if the pre-checkin notes to specify more clearly, such as entrance is behind Europcar.

Finnisch Lappland erleben - von der Mitte Rovaniemis aus

Perfekte Lage, in wenigen Gehminuten zu allen Aktivitäten-Anbietern, Speiselokalen, zur Innenstadt und zu schönen Wanderwegen. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend samt der großen Sauna ( mit separater Dusche und WC) mit Aussicht auf Polarlichter, sofern vorhanden. Auch wichtig: sehr bequeme Betten und eine schöne Aussicht auf den Fluss. Das Apartment in der 4./5. Etage ist mit einem Aufzug zu erreichen. Liegt ca. 3-4 min von einer Flughafen-Bushaltestelle.

Nichts zu meckern - Für uns war es perfekt.
