Great time in a cozy house by the lake

The house is cozy and very spacious. Can fit up to 10 people. There’s a frozen lake just behind the house. According to the receptionist, if it’s not cloudy, northern lights can be seen from backyard. Just to be clear, you need to retrieve the password and instructions to check in from a hotel first.

Would be great if there is washer/dryer or iron

Fabulous stay at Apartment Mummola

Beautiful traditional Finnish house in a great location. It fit our group of ten perfectly, the entire house was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Location is excellent and very easy to get to and from Santa Claus Village and the city centre. The kids had a ball playing in the snow at the front of the house.

The only annoying thing was having to get taxis to a different hotel to pick up the code for the key then go on to the house. Process could perhaps be a bit more streamlined but otherwise nothing negative to say.

It’s a wonderful, comfortable stay making visiting Rovaniemi a splendid trip.

The well-insulated place, perfect for a family vacation.

The ground-floor rooms offer less privacy as people must pass through either room to get to the kitchen.

Ideal location to the airport and Santa village.

The cold winding stairs was a little tricky for children.

The kids had a blast sledging in the snow.

Location, it was dry and warm, the view and areas outside. There was sledges for the kids outside. They had hours of fun.

There weren’t enough forks for everyone. No bottle opener. Would have been nice with a second shower. One for so many beds is hard.

Space to park and turn around. Beautiful spot with great views. We didn't use the upstairs rooms but downstairs was warm and cozy.

Love it

Ideal for our large family travel party. We loved that the house was always warm, having been worried about coming to -20temps. Stunning lookout over the river and fire pit in the garden which we used during our stay. We even had a visit one morning from a reindeer. Incredibly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Close to Santa Claus Village aswell :)

The key collection arrangement could be improved - go into the city centre to ‘collect’ keys to be told upon arrival there is a lock box at the property and to be told the code - this could surely be done via text or email and save travelling and time? Another shower upstairs would be beneficial for a property which can accommodate such a large party. But that is very minor - we loved it so much we were discussing coming back before we even left

Heerlijk verblijf, met veel ruimte rond het huis, dichtbij skipistes

De lokatie aan de rivier beviel het meest, ruimte te over om met sneeuw te spelen voor de kinderen, en zelfs bij -8 te BBQ-en. Op tien minuten lopen van de skipistes!

We konden geen stop vinden voor de gootsteen, dat was jammer. Er kwam een paar keer een man op de fiets die wat in de kelder ging doen, graag hadden we dit van te voren geweten, nu kijk je toch op van wie is daar?

L’emplacement de la maison est idéal, proche des activités de la région. C’est exactement ce que l’on recherchait. La maison est située à côté d’un lac ce qui fait que la vue est top. En prime nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales de la maison.

Nous étions 9 dans le logement, et dans la cuisine nous n’avions pas assez de fourchettes et couteaux. Dommage étant donné que la maison est pour un grand nombre de personnes mais nous avons pu nous débrouiller sans 😉

La casita es una monada, junto al río. Las camas cómodas. Y tenía todo lo necesario de menaje

Por poner algo, que no teníamos acceso a la lavadora,. Y, aunque no había fuego, ni humo, saltó el detector de incendios en dos ocasiones y no paraba cada cierto tiempo.
