Nightmare in Rovaniemi. Unable to access midnight at -25 C with children. Schedule was announced.

The appartment exists.

Access to building was blocked. We arrived with young children, and no one would answer or provide assistance when needed. (We had to leave and look for alternative accomodation due to the extreme weather) Assistance came much later. We were bit by bedbugs. Kids couldn't sleep because of the itching No customer attention. We received a digital greeting from "our host", who had a profile photo, but signed with a different name avery time. When urgently needed, answered 12hours later. Almost asking "who are you?" Kitchen was very minimal equipped. I truly and highly recomend staying away from this place!

Never, ever book this place! The company Rovaniemi Insider has other places in the city. Pay attention to don’t spend a night freezing without a room in Lapland or squeezed into a sofa. My husband, son, and I (three people) travelled to Rovaniemi, in Lapland (Finland), with a Booking reservation from 03/14 to 03/16. The space had one double bed and one single bed. I informed the host through Booking that we would check-in late, after 11 pm. The answer was that there would be no problem, as the key would be in a safer. On 03/14, they informed us that we would need to pick up the key, in a safe, at another address in the city centre, far from the one we had reserved. It was very cold (-20 degree), and we were tired, but we went to the place and identified the safe, and there was no key. We replied that everything was fine. We contacted the accommodation, who did not solve the problem; we contacted Booking, who were also unable to help. We spent more than an hour on the phone trying to find a solution. The host responded by message first that someone had taken our key and then that there was already someone sleeping in the apartment we booked. At 00:14, booking informed us to try to find a room in a hotel, which would be refunded later. We were left at -20 degrees Celsius, exhausted, knocking on the doors of hotels with no vacancies. The only possible solution was found at 4:00 a.m. We booked another room with 3 beds, well located in the city so that we could enjoy something during our trip. To our surprise, the apartment belonged to the same company that left us without accommodation the night before—Rovaniemi Insider. The company changed our apartment without our knowledge via WhatsApp message. I asked to stay where we had booked, but we were placed in an apartment far away. We had to accept or be without accommodation again (no key available). In short, our trip was a fiasco and extremely stressful.

Perfect location and a practical apartment for a good price.

The location was very good, since the apartment is basically located in the city centre. We arrived by train and got to the apartment by foot, since it isn't really that far. The apartment itself was nicely furnished with everything one might need for a comfy stay (kitchen appliances, washing machine, tv, balcony). All four of us enjoyed out stay and will most likely book again when in Rovaniemi. :)

Good-sized modern apartment with two bedrooms, well located.

Access was straightforward and the apartment bigger than expected. Lovely bathroom and shower.

Second (bunk) bedroom had no window. Otherwise just fine.

Its was nice big appartment for family. We really like it, its as kitchen, and sauna and parking.

Please try to contact how you will get keys before going tgere. We had to wait hours for getting key and coz they did not got any confirmation email.

picked up keys from location in city - apartment was deluxe - extreme clean - very roomy and in great location. Coldnt ask for more. Parking was available also - assume it is like that normally (on street)

New apartment with all facilities, walkable to Rovaniemei train station. Host could have responded better over messages

New apartment with all household facilities such as kitchen utensils, dishwasher, oven, washing machine etc.,

Host is not answering messages through booking. com or SMS, but he responded well over a phone call. Checkin detail is not shared in advance , need to call the host couple of times to get it. But, he came to apartment to handover the apartment keys upon my arrival!

The keys were not in the lockbox and the property was impossible to find with the directions given. It was very stressful after a very long flight.

Nice apartment and sauna but some small improvements could be implemented.

The apartment was furnished and clean, not too far from the center of Rovaniemi.

Important things such as toilet paper and trash bags were missing which would have been nice to know in advance. The check-in informations were also missing which was a bit of a struggle to arrive there.

Super appartement !

Appartement spacieux avec un sauna fonctionnel. C’est vraiment un bel appartement, propre et pratique. Nous avons payé le supplément parking pour une voiture, nous pouvions donc nous garer devant l’immeuble. L’emplacement était pratique pour se déplacer en voiture ou à pieds dans Rovaniemi.

La vue n’est pas très naturelle (routes et magasins).
