A good place to stay when visiting Rovaniemi.

The property was clean and cozy. Even if outside were -25 Celsius, inside was very warm. I liked the part of checking-in and entering apartment through their site. If you don’t want to, after entering first time in the apartment, you have a key that you can use. We visited a lot so we stayed there only before bed and mornings. It was close to city center(around 17 mins by foot), bus stops(10 mins by foot) etc. The place was perfect for me and my son.

It was good value. It was warm, comfortable and clean. It was also close to McDonald’s and Minimart was made things super convenient.

Amazing

The apartment was amazing with everything you need. There is a supermarket 6 mins walking and the bus station 10 mind walking. The apartment is 10 mins drive from Santa Claus Village and it was very clean.

acceptable if no other choice

All digital, no need to wait for owners for the key. however it would have trouble to get in if lost of internet.

It was dirty, found human hair on bedsheet and pillow when we first stepped in. There were sign that the cups were used without cleaning. The entrance of building is locked but not always functional. Have followed the instructions when the entrance door is not working properly but still unable to unlock the door, you will be freezing outside the building trying to find someone’s help. I was luckily enough someone passed by and opened the door for me.

Lots of rules and instructions. We did not like that they took a cleaning deposit — that is very non-standard practice.

Beautiful & spotless apartment

We stayed in a gorgeous apartment, it was so clean we were almost afraid to use it! Our flight arrived late, but the host got in contact with us straight away to let us know that was absolutely fine, which really eased our minds. Taxis arrive very quickly, however be careful when booking Ubers as they can sometimes go to the wrong door. Santa’s McDonald’s is directly across the road and a huge supermarket, which was very convenient. Santa Claus Village is only a 10-15 minute drive from the apartment, and Rovaniemi city centre is just a 5-10 minute drive away. A beautiful apartment in a great location, we would definitely stay again if we were going back.

Maybe leave a fan in a press, as it got a bit too warm one of the nights. The only downside, and this is more a suggestion than a complaint, was checking in. When we arrived at 11pm, for whatever reason my phone wouldn’t switch over, so my internet wouldn’t work which caused a big issue with the check-in process. When I got to the smart lock step, I couldn’t activate it. I had screenshotted the first part of the instructions, so I managed to get that far. After a bit of panicking, my friend had a brainwave and suggested I connect to her hotspot, which allowed us to complete the check-in and get inside. At that hour of the night, it was also a little stressful not being 100% sure we were at the correct apartment door until we saw the photo in the instructions you’re half afraid you might be trying to get into someone else’s accommodation! Perhaps clearer door identification or offline instructions would help future guests arriving late. Overall, it’s a beautiful apartment in a great location, and we would definitely stay again if we were going back.

Okay overall!

This place is very clean, not far from city center but is hard to manage just walking around, taxis seemed to be easier. The door did have a little issues when trying to get in sometimes but otherwise it was smooth check in, responsive hosts, pricy but nice stay. I Had to pay for a late check out $50 usd which I’ve never seen before.

Property was clean and has everything you need. The instructions could do some updating/editing.

The property was perfect for what we needed. It was accessible to supermarket, 5mins to town and pizza place round the corner.

The instructions was misleading for example it said it was on the 1st floor but the floor it is in is actually labelled 2nd floor. The smart code entry to the door was confusing, there was a code for main door then another code for the actual door that had to be entered on the phone, if the guest doesn’t have a wifi/data that would be very difficult. The instructions after cheking in and pressing ‘im in’ was confusing, could do with some updating and make the codes in bold so that it is not missed.

An experience not to repeat!

Instructions to get into the property were clear and the apartment was clean.

The apartment was overpriced considering its size and very basic furniture! Cold as the arctic region, the apartment has nothing to welcome the guest, not even a tea bag. No single amenity. Only stringent house rules threatening to pay extra money for any mishap.

Nice convenient spot to stay in Rovaniemi!

Good location next to the railway station. New building and fresh appartment. We really clean. Had dishwasher, laundry machine, coffee maker, microwave, water boiler. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and utensils. The apparment was small but compact. The balcony was big. Quiet neighbourhood.

The room is big and tidy, clean and well maintained, with plenty of facilities to use.

The temperature of the room is not very warm, and could not be controlled, and the wind coming from the ventilation opening is not very easy to control. So need to have blanket and towels to keep warm.

Lovely stay in a quaint apartment with everything you need!

Was a lovely little apartment but I would say more like hotel room, there were 2 adults and a child with minimal luggage storage so quite cramped for a 5 night stay. Apartment was VERY CLEAN and exceeded expectations, location also good and loved the pizza/kebab shop over the road. Cot was set up with blanket and pillow which was also a lovely touch.

Access to room could have been tricky if I didn’t follow instructions and read thoroughly. Pillows a bit lumpy and apartment significantly smaller than we had thought. Electric hob was tricky to use and became frustrating. All in all a lovely place though- would recommend!

Highly recommend

A compact studio apartment with all the facilities. The apartment is well organised and looks spacious. very very comfortable for couples. It is located 350 meters from the Bus station and 800 meters from the train station which makes the apartment easily accessible from public transport. Bathroom is very spacious. Since we came early the host was kind enough for early checkin. Thank you so much for being so kind and helpful.

pleasant comfortable accommodation but out of the city you need your own transport

It was pleasant and very clean and comfortable. The owner provided some very basic things, couple of coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, shampoo… we appreciated those in a self catering scenario.

it was fine for the last night of our holiday as we just needed to rest and head to the airport the next morning. we had a hire car and you def needed that as the property is in the suburban part of town with no immediate amenities. the property was fine and modern and clean and warm. just out of town…

Cosy, comfy & relaxing!

I was so pleased with this cosy little studio apartment. the pictures actually do not do it justice. Immaculate, very nicely furnished & warm. The building was quiet and the supermarket was literally 5 mins away. it’s a little further out of the main town but not too far. I really enjoyed my little stay here.

Wszystko w należytym porządku

Bardzo korzystna lokalizacja, miejsce parkingowe pod zadaszeniem. Duży, przestronny apartament, wszystkie udogodnienia, włączając saunę. Instrukcja na Booking dotycząca sauny była nieco nieadekwatna, bo był inny piec, ale udało się samodzielnie i skutecznie ogarnąć. Ogólnie bardzo polecam.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön. Die Ausstattung war echt toll vor allem die Sauna war mein Highlight. Ich hab mich total wohl gefühlt und per Chat wurden mir meine Fragen sehr zeitnah beantwortet. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Auf dem Bett waren einige Haare was etwas unhygienisch war ansonsten war aber alles Top!
