If the windows would be repaired, it could be a perfect place to stay!

The accomondation can easily be reached from the airport with Santa's Express, you need to go till the shopping center and walk from there. Unfortunately we got off one stop after because the driver thought for me it was obvious it was the shopping center...but fortunately the other stop was only a few hundred meters further. If you want to wash there is a washing machine, the kitchen is ok just we did not have the bowl to cook soup, otherwise the flat itself was ok from comfortable side. We even had a sledge to borrow.

It was quite difficult to get out the key from the box. The windows were not closing well so even if we had the heating on max, the cold air was continously coming in :( We basically just slept at the place but I never experienced feeling the cold coming to my face when sleeping. So my points because of having been freezing.

The beds were not at all comfortable. The pillows were hard and old . The ceiling lamp had some lights missing. The bathroom was a challenge . All water was coming out . The partition was not at all practical.

Even though the location was not the same as on the map on booking.com, it’s close to the city centre.

When booking, the address on booking is the city centre apartment. I only paid attention on the address once I’ve got into the apartment and realised on the pictures sent to find the keys that I was in the wrong location. There is no picture from the bathroom of the apartment that we stayed and after being there I know why. Dark, mouldy and it was impossible to use the bathroom after shower because it all got wet. The fridge had a horrible smell.

Great location. Shops just across the road. 5 min walk to bus station. 10 min walk to city center. Coffee , tea, and some food in apartment on arrival. Beds a bit not comfortable. The owner very nice and helpful. Great comunication all the time. Over all good holidays and stay.

what not to like? it’s a spacious apartment that can easily accommodate a few people, the kitchen is fully equipped to make your own meals. wifi was strong all around. its location is right next to city center (it’s a small town anyways), with all the restaurant options, shops, some sights, good markets, bus stop for the airport and Santa Village. it’s a residential building so it’s quieter than a hotel. you get instructions to access the building/apartment prior to your arrival and it’s very easy - entrance is on the side of the building and not on the main road but can’t miss it.

Avoid Rajajääkärinkatu 3 apartment and ideally all from this guest

Nothing, it ruined our holiday. The Rajajääkärinkatu 3 apartment is a disgrace.

Caution! The reviews on Booking.com are for all apartments, not specifically yours. The pictures are carefully taken so they only show the good and modern parts of the apartments. We've stayed at Rajajääkärinkatu 3 apartment and it was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in my whole life, it's a TOURIST TRAP. It stinks of tobacco and other stuff, including the bedding, it's a musty smell all around. The pillows were similar to sofa cushions, thick and hard. The whole place is outdated (1950s or so) with just a few modern pieces around living area, enough to make up for pictures. The kettle looked and smelled like a septic tank and this is not an exaggeration! The amount of dust and rubbish under the sofa bed was so much that you could shovel it. The WiFi comes from a mobile dongle which is slow, temperamental, it drops constantly, you can't watch anything. I absolutely do not recommend this place nor the other apartments from this guest, you risk to have your holiday ruined by these people at your own cost! Our friends have paid 30 euro/night more than us and they've had a state of the art apartment on Koskenranta street, with sauna, balcony view to the river and bridge, lift, free parking, shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars etc. on the doorstep.

Good amount of space, well-stocked, nice location close to key transports and to most amenities. Easy check-in/out process.

Wi-fi was quite weak and the kettle was very dirty, thus unusable.

Not cozy and inviting

It was a quiet location at night. There was strong water pressure and hot water.

About 15 minute walk to center; next to primary school and apartment buildings; a bit run down, shower curtain is moldy at bottom; a bit dark - not enjoyable to stay in apartment to work digitally; smells musty and like pet urine or wet dog; bathroom towels smell musty and are not enjoyable to dry off with; bed mattress and pillows are foam like - more comfortable than I predicted; challenging to unlock key box due to tight position behind metal piping; seems like student housing/apartments - others smoking cigarettes and herbs.

A really nice apartment.

It is a city center apartment, close to the shoping center, the beach and the river. The apartment have everything you need, and it feels like home. The picures really dont show how fine this flat is. It is in a quiet part of the town and have a little K market near bye. I really recommend this for a longer and short stay.

Comfy central stay

Location is amazing, at the center, you can walk everywhere. There's a K-Market just 100m from the place. The apartment is cozy and comfortable with all the basic necessities.

Some of the lights were not working and it would be nice if there were two paistinpannu, but it's not really mandatory.

A great place to stay with a family

It was a great stay! The hosts were very helpful in terms of organizing airport shuttle, helping out with a taxi to get to the doctor when it was needed and responding to a literally ANY question we've had. The flat was well-equipped. The location and proximity to the shops and a bus stop - we found it very useful.

We have nothing to complain about.

Value for money.

I was looking for a decent accommodation for a reasonable price, I think the facility met my expectation i.e. it is competitively priced, close to the train station, Bus stop, City center etc. Overall I enjoyed the stay here.

While booking I checked the option for the Airport shuttle which I did not get when I landed there. I understood from the host that they were completely booked, but I thought they could have arranged an alternative. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay.

The apartment owner was very friendly and kind and the communication was working perfectly. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. Everything necessary was available and there was a small crocery store just right in the neighbourhood.

Amazing apartment

Everything was perfect, heating comfortable, bed linen included, a lot of space, a good location (we were with a car), close to supermarkets, which one works from 7 till 22 (weekends reduced opening hours). There were small items left in the kitchen (like salt, sugar, oil, pepper, etc.)

Une nuit qui donne envie d’en passer plus!

L’emplacement (au porte du centre ville), l’équipement de l’appartement (machine à laver, cuisine complète et jeux pour enfants à disposition), le calme (aucun bruit pour des nuits bien réparatrices) et les échanges avec l’hôte (rapide et précis).

Rien même si la literie est un peu souple cela n’empêche pas de bien dormir.
