Meh

The location is good, very close to city centre and quite spacious. We were given 5A1 unit on the ground floor.

There was confusion about the unit we were allocated to according to the instructions given at the hotel was 5A2. When we arrived at the property only 5A1 had keys which we reluctantly entered in after trying to call the hotel a few times to confirm. This at a time after midnight was frustrating given we were already tired. At the time of booking we looked at the photos and the property appears to have a bathroom and a WC. But this only had a bathroom which wasn’t convenient for 4 adults. To be fair the listing did say one bathroom. Beds weren’t comfortable either.

Spacious apartment but with 1 bathroom

Spacious apartment, detached, quiet except for the people on the 1 floor apartment. Good area to play outside in the snow. easy to access with cabs. walking distance to bus or train station.

Keys had to be collected at the main hotel which is NOT a walkable distance. Advertised as 2 bathrooms but only ONE.

Lovely stay

Comfortable bads and spacious accommodation. Great communication from staff. We arrived later than expected and this was not an issue.

location was good and it was peaceful.

the apartment isnt very modern. curtain very thin and didn't fit the windows properly. we had a very poor Christmas tree which had about 5 baubles on it some of which were cracked and broken. it didnt feel homely at all and it was difficult to sleep with light shining through the thin curtains. I dont feel it was worth the amount paid for a 3 night stay.

Would stay again!!

Very helpful staff, location of cabin was stunning, lovely and quiet. Basic with regards to amenities but had everything you needed and everything worked and was practical with regards to the weather conditions. Easy enough to get to city centre and places of interest. Plenty of space.

Gets very hot once all the heaters kick in which is great from coming in out the snow but gets a bit much after a bit but then cools down to quickly if you turn them all off… maybe pack cooler clothes for indoors.

Okay for 2nights!

The apartment was worth the price if you travel as a group, the rooms were nice and also the bathroom was good!

The water on the bathroom got cold very fast, (4 people getting a shower in the same night is not possible) and the loaction where you need to take the keys is not where you’ll be living (2km away, it is in the city).

Door was left open at apartment when we came to after picking codes up from another hotel (not sure why they couldnt email the codes), was dual living. Had people above us and their washing in our apartment and using washing Machine being used by them. Bathroom wasn't cleaned and dirty/wet. Wifi was extremely slow - couldn't buffer any videos. Had to contact reception to get password for wifi - email address they supplied wasn't correct either and rebounded. Place Had beds and was good enough to sleep in. Thats about it

Do not book this place

The WiFi worked after I complained about it to the reception.

TLDR: terrible place The house turned out to be split into two units which I didn't know at the time of the booking. We got the upstairs apartment which was very cheap looking and dirty. There were stains on the walls that looked like blood, the table cloth was permanently stained by colourful food, the rubbish bin was full and the kitchen smelled so funky we couldn't use it. Most importantly, the WiFi was not working. I called the reception angrily and they said that they're not responsible for the cleaning. Very rude. However at the reception they said that someone will come around at some point to get the internet going. I didn't feel comfortable someone entering the apartment while we're not there but what choice do I have? The WiFi was working when we got back and that was the saving grace of this horrible, cheap apartment that cost a lot of money. Needless to say, I'll never return to this place.

A lovely base to explore Rovaniemi

Lovely comfortable apartment. Well placed and had everything we needed. Walking distance to the bus and train station and supermarkets. Was warm and clean

A plug socket off the wall but working. A little damage to the bathroom door. Temperamental sauna. Only worked once during our stay and the shower room floor very slippery. I had to wear my indoor shoes as shower shoes. The tiny little room off the living area had no light or sockets so maybe add this to that area to maximise its use

location was fantastic

the pillow was too soft and blanket was too thin to manage the winter. the place wasn’t that clean when we check in. The shower room water was too cold for us and the water was too small, not strong enough for us to enjoy our shower.

Exceptional

The apartment is large and perfect for a family. There are 3 separate sleeping areas including 5 single beds and one double bed. We enjoyed the in-apartment sauna after spending the day outdoors. The reception (the hotel where we picked up keys) was very helpful in finding food delivery options and assisting with luggage needs.

Spacious apartment, good location in relation to the train station.

Kitchen utensils for cooking were rather poor. Also there were no hand towels for the kitchen, nor sanitizers. Refrigerator was very small for a large group to keep the food cold. Sauna was very small and for a tall person difficult to sit.

The apartment I had been moved to was slightly larger. Tidy beds. Good location with not many really close neighbors.

My reservation was changed without me being informed until picking up the key. Apartment was slightly untidy with crums on the table and so on. Fridge didn't work. Replacement fridge was too small to fit all my food in.

Decepción al llegar a un sitio estupendo

En general la casa está bien, viejita pero bien. El problema es que el día que llegamos no habían limpiado y algunas camas estaban deshechas y con la ropa y toallas recién utilizadas. Nos dijeron que no lo limpiarían hasta el día siguiente, sólo fueron a cambiar la ropa de cama. La primera noche la pasamos en un sitio que estaba tal y como la habían dejado los anteriores inquilinos, basura sin tirar, cacharros sucios, restos de comidas sobre la mesa, baños y camas sin hacer. El dueño no respondió, dijo que teníamos que aguantarnos y que no había compensación ninguna
