Spacious holiday home in Rovaniemi

Very spacious holiday home, with a big kitchen, two toilets and private parking. Great for self catering. Plenty of wardrobes and space for luggage and hanging winter jackets.

It wasn’t particularly clean. Dust in bedrooms, shower needs a scrub. No tea towels in kitchen. No info on how to connect wifi. It could have done with a house guide with that sort of info.

Passable

The house could have been cleaner. But honestly it always comes down to staff, and they were terrible. I called to ask about the sleds that were supposed to be there and the lady was extremely snarky on the phone and on the day of checkout, the hotel was closed because the receptionist got sick. I would expect a hotel with 24 hour reception to be able to replace her shift.

This property is a great location, and I would recommend it - it just needs a bit of attention to give it a good clean a

location was excellent, and having a washing machine etc made a difference - also great to have a sauna. Covered parking was a boon.

several items didn’t function properly (ie the dishwasher - the lower basket has no wheels so the lower level did not wash properly) cupboard doors broken in kitchen and cleanliness in the apartment wasn’t great (lots of dust on floor etc) and oven and hob was really dirty.

Superb

The accommodation was super, very spacious for our family of five. It had everything that we needed and more! The area was quiet but not too far away from anything. We had an amazing holiday here and would not hesitate to stay again, everyone was really helpful. Thankyou 😁

Excellent stay!

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 kids) arrived to Rovaniemi to meet Santa Claus. We stayed at this spacious, light, clean and warm property with, garden, fireplace and sauna. All the required facilities for a big family with small children were there. The house location was excellent to us; quiet location, away from traffic noise, not far from main city centre, shops and main attractions such as Santa Claus Village and Santa Park are about 10 min drive. We were pleased that although firewood was not included in a price the host kindly provided it free of charge on our request. Two sledges were also available for the kids to enjoy. The host went the extra mile for us and took the trouble to recover our child’s gift from Santa which got stuck on the sky light window. Highly recommend for families.

Pleasant

In my opinion the apartment is described incorrectly as I can not take a guest toilet for an extra bathroom because we could not have a bath or shower in this “extra bathroom”. It turned out to be the guest toilet that is also mentioned in the description of the apartment that the the facility insisted to be the extra bathroom. We felt very disappointed and insisted on monetary compensation. This we have not got so far.

Superb

We were disappointed by the fact that there was only one bathroom where showering was possible although the description mentioned extra bathroom. We needed and were convinced when we booked, we get two bathrooms where we can have a shower. It turned out that the guest toilet is considered to be the extra bathroom even though it’s not possible to have a shower there. The accommodating staff did regrettably not understand our view.

Prima verblijf in Rovaniemi

Het huis was erg ruim en de locatie goed, op loopafstand van busstation, supermarkt en centrum. Bedden waren heerlijk en schoon. Ruime woonkamer met keuken en ook de slaapkamers waren ruim. Alle benodigheden waren aanwezig. Wifi was goed.

Met name de keuken was erg vuil. We hebben eerst zelf schoon moeten maken. Oven, koelkast vaatwasser en pannen waren duidelijk niet schoongemaakt. Oude etensresten in de kastjes. Ook de douchewand was vies. De rest, bedden en sauna, was wel schoon. Het receptie personeel in het hotel waar de sleutel moet worden opgehaald was kortaf.
