Very goof breakfast in nice restaurant. Good selection of food and drinks, friendly staff.

We had an emergency with our car so had to find quickly any hotel in Salzburg to accommodate family. I had to book 2 rooms as they didn't have room for 4 people. We arrived around 8.30pm. Rooms were nice and clean but there was very low temperature inside (estimate 15 degrees). I spoke with reception and they recommended to turn on Air conditioning what would help to heat up both rooms. As we were super tired we just fall asleep. Woke up in the morning just to find out that rooms as such were already heated to comfortable temperature by air conditioning, but bathrooms was very cold as central heating with radiators was still stone cold. I spoke with reception again about the issue, they just didn't want to acknowledge there is a problem saying that other guests were not complaining (?!). Lady on reception was friendly, I didn't want to argue with her as we were in a hurry again, so just paid remaining amount and left. Would I recommend the hotel? If heating is OK or at least staff will acknowledge the problem and try to offer anything, then yes I would recommend it. Unfortunately due to the circumstances I was unsatisfied and can't give positive feedback.

Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff!

Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff was very helpful! Check in also went really smoothly. There is an Italian restaurant right next door with good food too. It is a bit out of town though, so we needed to take the bus into town every day (the bus stop is very close to the hotel). We were thankful to receive the free guest travel card from the hotel, which helped keep transport costs low.

There was no kettle in the room to make coffee or hot drinks for ourselves (we were travelling in winter, so wanted to make something hot while relaxing in your room)- but they luckily let us get warm water downstairs at the dining space.

I would come back to Salzburg again — I liked it.

Service staff is great. The location is good, a 25–30 minute walk to the city center. Public transportation is good, with intervals of about 15 minutes. The hotel is good, but I didn’t see the fourth star.

My laptop screen is the same size as the room’s TV. Four stars, but there’s neither a kettle nor a cup with a spoon. The room is very warm, but if you open the window, it’s very noisy from the street. No wooden floors or parquet — cheap laminate.

Good location and nice staff

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Our room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It’s a good location with the bus stop right out front and just a couple of stops to the old city. We also walked as it’s not a far distance. Parking was available in the back. The attached Italian restaurant was delicious and we opted to get breakfast at the hotel on our last morning which didn’t disappoint. Very nice and convenient.

Fine. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff were often not at desk.

Had issues initially with my credit card as was locked for international transactions. I notified Booking.com and hotel. Eventually had to call the hotel directly as they were about to give our room away. There should be an easier way. Had to call unlock my card to allow the hotel to take €0.01 so they knew card worked. As it was I paid with a different card on arrival

Great stay in a quiet area, close to town and with a friendly and helpful staff.

We had an efficiency room with plenty of space and a kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When one of our parties felt ill, they always asked how she was doing and if they could help in any way. The hotel is outside the old town area in a quieter neighborhood, but they provided us with a transportation pass which allowed us to use the buses for free, with a bus stop very close to the hotel. A great place to start our vacation.

I can't think of anything that impacted our stay in a negative way.

Excellet hotel and wonderful staff

Everything was excellent. The hotel is very nice, located in a quiet residential neighborhood, about a 20–25 minute walk from the city center and around 20 minutes on foot to Hohensalzburg Fortress. Right next to the hotel there’s a stop for bus line 5, which goes to the city center and the train station. You can also get off at Mirabell Square and take bus 150 to the popular tourist towns in the lake district near Salzburg. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a large window that can be opened. There’s air conditioning, which was very helpful during the hot summer days. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. I had some unexpected situations during my stay and they really supported me — it meant a lot. I liked the hotel very much and even extended my stay. Highly recommended.

Some rooms are above an Italian restaurant/Pizzeria. If you don't like the smell, make sure in advance you get another room. As for me - it did not bother me.

It is OK!

The hotel was neat, everything was clean. The only major drawback was that when the window of the room was open, there was a strong smell from the kitchen below. We tried to turn on the air conditioning but it didn't work. The hotel staff were friendly. It is recommended that the staff wear their business attire because they looked like hotel guests.

Great Location - Friendly staff

The property is close enough to alstadt without being right in the centre of town. It was quiet and beautiful with a lovely view of the fortress! Pretty residential and the staff were also very helpful! Clean rooms - gives an old world feel to the stay.

The heaters in the bathroom worked better than the heater in the bedroom - my only feedback really. Otherwise everything was great!

The put me in a room I didn't reserve. I guess they double booked and couldn't care less. The shifted me to bedroom with windows that look straight onto a wall 3 feet in front! I asked to move. Then I realised what they had done originally. They offered me a free €17 breakfast. Unacceptable. I asked them in advance about the view. They said it's fine, it's over the garden. It was the car park. They lied to me repeatedly. The rooms are all directly above an Italian restaurant. So there is a constant smell of cheese and bolognese. No view of mountains or the castle. Hated my time there.

Very good

Very nice and comfortable room with heated floors. Nice modern kitchen with everything you need and a big wardrobe.

The only thing I didn't like was that the shower floor hade pieces of hair so i suppose it wasn't cleaned after the last guest of the room...
