Cheap, but noisy!

The noise from the street is very loud, even when the windows are closed. Also the door to the corridor is bad noisy.

Super shady place

Only thing I liked was that the room was clean and normal sized.

Absolutely do not recommend to female travelers. Very dodgy area, with many drunks and drugged people hanging around, a whole family was living in the entrance (with a pet in a cage) the day I arrived, smelly stairways, very creepy staff (all men), and on my second day the police suddenly knocked at my door, saying that someone had called them from my room (I didn’t!). They sent 3 policemen/women, which freaked me out and led me to staying in another hotel the last night, because the place was shady as hell.

The possibility to book last minute, the central location.

I did book late but there was no-one when I arrived to check-in. Also 'o-one when I wanted to check-out so I waited for quite a long time and randomly met an employee while I was waiting outside.

Horrible place to stay. Rooms are on 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Staff was not friendly, area is not great. We had to wait 5 minutes to be let into building. Room was not as expected it had 3 beds. The one we sleep in sunk in the middle. We ended up not eating breakfast it was not good. I would not give this place a 3 star or recommend it.

The price was very high for the facilities on offer. The rooms were hot, small and noisy. There was exposed wiring in one of the rooms and no air conditioning just a noisy ceiling fan. Not sure why you are listing this property as 3 star. We left early and are looking for a refund for the unused 3rd night of 300 euros

If I had been able to get my money back, I would have this was a crime

We locked nothing about the property. It was nothing like the pictures showed. This was a horrible place scary dirty nothing worked when ask what we could do about getting our money back. They said nothing.

We liked nothing about this property. If you are even considering it consider something else this is nasty not maintained our bathtub leak nothing was nice. I can’t believe I spent €800.

This hotel was probably one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in many. There was also a lovely clean smell in the air throughout the hotel and the dining room was also immaculate including cups, plates, utensils. The breakfast was everything you needed for a city break and the staff were constantly topping things up and cleaning down tables. As soon as someone left the dining room their table was cleaned. As soon as something was running low it was topped up. The staff in general were great! They let us leave our bags on day one as we were too early for check in and also let them leave them on the last day as we were in Salzburg later than check out time. On day one the staff member called us to see if we were on our way back soon so they could check us in before they left for the day. There was a way to check in when they had gone home but I honestly thought this was such a lovely touch to make sure we got checked in okay while they were there. They also gave us cups and tea bags for our room on request and were generally very helpful. Location was great! We could walk to the old town and all the main attractions. Buses were there if needed. We got a bus to and from the airport (number 2) and it was about 20 minutes and so easy!

Decor needs updating in places and pillows need replacing. Beds weren’t really comfy but okay for a few days.

I would never ever go to this hotel again

good location, downtown nearby, train station nearby

- Breakfast was very humble, no vegetable :(, no english breakfast - price ( this hotel is worth 1/5 money paid per service you get) - at the end at check-out receptionist tried to scam me, asked for money for breakfast even breakfast was already paid via booking, then tried to ask money for tax etc (even tax and parking was paid day before at check-in) ... at the end we implied there is no chance to scam me, though nice try - my friends had incident when at midnight some random guy came to their room and wanted to accommodate with them ( seems room was double booked) - stress situation for my friends and also for the guy - insects in my room

Overall great place to stay from location perspective, breakfast is great as well.

I was charged 10 euros for 2 rooms as city tax. Don’t know whether that’s right or wrong. The phone was was do not disturb mode for a few days and I could not get through.

No lift at the entrance, need to climb up the stairs to reception. Carry luggage up and down. It was inconvienent.

Excellent service and breakfast.

The hotel was very comfortable. A maid came each day to clean and re-stock the room, which was already very clean. The breakfast was excellent. and the young woman who worked in the breakfast room was incredible! She was so helpful, thoughtful, and hard-working - such a nice way to begin the day!

That 2 keys couldn’t be provided for each room. That we couldn’t check in slightly early. A busy location to get street parking. The staff were not friendly, except the cleaner.
