Location, size
We arrived on the hottest day of the year. There were fans in each room but it was still pretty miserable with heat. Otherwise 10 stars.

The staff person at check in and out was very friendly, informative and helpful. He made me feel very welcome, and even showed my his hand-made bamboo bicycle.
The location wasn't stellar. My room overlooked a loud street and some sort of restaurant. The good thing was that the hotel is easy walking distance to the train station. That's the downside too - the nearness to the train station makes the neighbourhood a bit less than outstanding. Fine if you are a seasoned traveler.

A genuinely local friendly hotel / BNB. it’s simple and quaint. They serve a great breakfast. It was very quiet at the back of the hotel. No street noise.
A very squeaky bed that apparently is being replaced soon.
