Expected more, but for one night was ok.

The bathroom was renovated. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was ok. Has a hair dryer and refrigerator.

The room was very small and old, the trash bin in the toilet was full, the table was sticky. Hygiene was questionable. For one night was bearable.

Close to Train station, clean, comfortable, great host.

Very comfortable stay close to the train station but also far away enough that you don’t have any noise. Perfect for that overnight stay before an early train. There are also a mix of restaurants nearby. I was allowed to check in earlier as I arrived way before check in time which to me showed a great host and customer service. Clean and comfortable.

Brilliant value for money.

I booked a room for me, husband and adult son. I thought we would be ok in a room together as it was just a night. It turned out, we actually had a little apartment with a separate room for my son. There was even a kitchenette. We did not need it, but it would have been an option. In the morning we had lots of time before our flight and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with lots of coffees and teas. Also the location was great, very close to the station where all public transport busses left. Due to the free guest card, one can use the public transport free of charge.

Decent and cosy

Their staff is accommodating, they will give you advice on how to navigate around the area. The room is decently clean with old furnitures around. The bed has warm and cosy duvet that fits for the cold weather. The breakfast is just right and filling. It is located a few steps from a bus stop if you are coming from the airport and a few good miles going to Mirabelle Square

Their pillows are thin and only 1 is given for each guest (we did not request for an additional though). It would be nice to have electric kettle in the room so a day can start with a some hot drinks. Since the property looks a bit older, some stuff is broken. Our room has broken shower head holder, it doesn’t move up and down. The curtain goes off the rod when I wanted to close it, although I made DIY repair.

Convenient and clean place to explore Salzburg

This hotel was so close to the train and bus station! Great location, and our room was a great size (lg apt). It was nice to have a separate room for my husband and me, while my adult children had their own space. Salzburg is not cheap, but I felt that this hotel was perfect for us.

Only 1 of the staff members wasn't very pleasant. Our check out girl was super sweet.

Very good stay in a beautiful city.

Great location as it was only 2 blocks from the main bus station. The parking was tight but acceptable. Price for the room was worthwhile. The breakfast was typical European so I went to McDonalds.The reception man was outstanding in helping me. I would stay here again.

The pillow was too flat. You need a foam or fiber filled one.

Comfortable and value for money

The hotel was very spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax. Its location is excellent—just a short walk from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof, making it very easy to access. A nice bonus during our stay was receiving a free transportation pass, which made getting around the city even more convenient.

One suggestion for improvement would be to provide coffee/tea and cups directly in the room instead of requiring guests to collect them from the lobby counter.

This property is just 7-8 minutes walk from Salzburg HBF main train station,all major sight-seen are on walking distance of 2-3 km ,staff are very friendly they give Given 3 days Salzburg transport card (card issued by Salzburg authority),kitchen is good with all necessary equipment good for two people.

Basic, budget hotel in easy to reach location. Happy to stay again if the wifi was better.

Easy walk from the train or bus. About 10 minute easy walk from old town. Basic but adequate breakfast. Kettle in the room for tea. Modern bathroom. Friendly helpful staff.

Wifi is rubbish and mostly non-existent. If we were able to log in, the connection would freeze or drop out randomly and often.

A genuinely local friendly hotel / BNB. it’s simple and quaint. They serve a great breakfast. It was very quiet at the back of the hotel. No street noise.

Good place but rooms far too hot in summer

The room size, the location for the train station and buses, the breakfast and breakfast room. Free transport. The rooms were better than expected from the photos on website, had been modernised. Very good kitchen and bathroom

The rooms were boiling hot even with fans provided running all night. Sleeping was very difficult. A few key items were missing from the kitchenette. Bottle opener, wine glasses etc. the key system didn’t seem very secure. Just hanging by entrance with numbers on. Anyone could walk in off street. As the receptionists changed almost every time we came and went, at least 5 or 6.

Fantastic stay in beautiful Salzburg

Friendly staff and location. Comfy bed, breakfast good also some nice choices. Fantastic to have a lift too, especially after 3 weeks of travel with most accommodation on upper levels with stairs! Thank you would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay.

The room was beautiful with small kitchenette and a seating area with table and chairs. Breakfast had a variety to choose from. Staff were very helpful recommending places to eat and what to see on a half day when we arrived.

There was not enough hanging area in the bathroom to hang wet towels.

An ideal budget hotel for getting yourself sorted to enjoy Salzburg

Adlerhof was perfect for us, as we arrived in Salzburg by train with a view to collecting a rental car the next morning. We easily found the hotel on foot, all staff were friendly & helpful and the (included) breakfast buffet was superb, with a range of modern devices used to enable guests to efficiently serve themselves all manner of wholesome food. Our room was also a very pleasant surprise, in particular the sparkling, modern bathroom. It is no surprise that this small, central hotel is clearly popular.
