Central, has lots of parking, straightforward, great comms with staff (had our rooms ready early so we could get to the rugby event on time), good breakfast, secure and they genuinely care.

Nothing - the place is perfect for those keen to self help and not chasing expensive hotel fluff!

The place to stay in Villeneuve-d'Ascq

Has been a while since we have stayed in a Campanile chain hotel, but for sure this time it was a very positive experience. The room has been very clean and functional following some major renovation. The bathroom was large, clean and modern. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with taking our food stuffs and storing it in their kitchen refrigerator. The breakfast was very tasty, with plenty of variety to choose from. The parking was spacious and well accessible. For sure will stay there again when next time in the area. Strongly recommend.

A passable stay which served it's purpose but I don't think I would return.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and close to the main roads.

The walls of the rooms were very thin and people in the next door rooms could be easily heard. The hotel is next to quite a busy road so there is quite a lot of traffic noise. There is clearly upgrade work going on at the hotel, but my room was yet to be upgraded. The bathroom was very tired with black grout in places and a pedal bin where the lid was just balanced on top. The towels provided were clean but discoloured and tatty. My room was also extremely dark due to the close proximity of hedges and trees.

Quiet area, free parking, good breakfast, easy to get into town (Lille), and good price.

Nice staff. OK breakfast typical of France so more Continental than English. Location was good for us, a Burger King is within walking distance. Free parking with a large door protecting the premises at night. Lots of lighting at night.

quiet night slept deeply got a large desk in front of the window parking very close very close to my meeting the next day no hassle of airco noises no light of the corridor peeping under the door all night no led lights of screens etc to mask off excellent breakfast buffet friendly staff, even by late arrival after midnight

it would be a big improvement if they could open the fence at night with a simple pushbutton ... by now they have to yell the 6 bits code through a low quality intercom, you must try to understand it and remember it to add it on a keyboard on the other side ... but it has also something charming clumsy

respect de notre demande, a savoir 2 lits jumeaux avec chambre douche, certe une douchette qu'il fallait tenir en main car ne tenait pas bien sur son support. ménage impeccable

voir cette douchette et peut etre le sol de cette douche qui est glissant! la pare douche un peu plus grand en largeur pour éviter d'inonder la SDB
