Did what I wanted.

Location for the Decathlon Arena. A fair way in cab from Lille centre but ok. A few bars and restaurants close by. It is a short stay hotel.

I did think it was expensive but they had a captive market, room price day after the two concerts was one third, they changed the sign the next morning. Fair enough supply and demand all about the Arena events.

The staff were very nice and responsive. The bed was comfortable.

No soundproofing! I could hear the other rooms very easily. I could not sleep well since my neighboring room was opening and closing his/her door at night frequently and it had a very loud noise. I could feel like the guy was entering my room! I guess the walls were made of paper since I could hear everything in the neighboring room. In addition, the bathroom was not very clean. The edges of the walls were not cleaned properly, although it was not important for me. The last point, there was no refrigerator in the room to store food or cold drinks. Having a small fridge is always nice, isn't it?

This is not a 3 star hotel. Booking.com over charged.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. At checkin I asked for a bigger room and they provided one for 3 people at the same price the bookings.com had overcharged.

This is not a 3 star hotel. B and B is just Bed and bath. I paid for breakfast at 8.5 €. you had to pay ahead for breakfast. I would not pay for the breakfast you are better off in the city center. The bare floors, starkness of the rooms and the lack of amenities. Location was just ok. Due to the holidays several near by restaurants were closed. It is close to Lille University Scientific campus. Use Uber or Bolt. The cab we used to get our luggage to campus near by charged for his time to come from Lille €20. By Uber €10. The price of the hotel was high! Had I booked in France the price was 65€ instead of the $100 US that booking.com. With current strength of the dollar this is unacceptable. I will not use booking.com in the future.

Good place to stay in the outskirts of Lille.

Hotel was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The car park is quite safe and at a reasonable price. The bus to the city center can be taken in 10 min walk, which was very convenient.

First night our neighbours (people from room next to ours) were doing some noise late at night.

Lille Stadium was on the doorstep and there were a few restaurants right next to the hotel. It was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly.

Enjoyable stay at B&B Hôtel Lille Grand Stade

This is an excellent well-run hotel that provides an affordable option in Lille. The customer-facing staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. There was a good variety at breakfast and it was managed and presented by someone who really cares about what they do. Overall, we were made to feel welcome despite our lack of French language. Facilities in our room were basic but it was clean and comfortable. If we return to Lille we will definitely consider booking with this hotel again. Thank you to all the reception, breakfast and cleaning staff for providing an excellent service that made our stay enjoyable.

The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and had goo breakfast etc.

I understand why but the price was hiked up a little over what was reasonable for the room and facilities. They were great for the usual price but for the extra increase cos of an event I'd have expected a bit more.

The hotel is close to the airport. Ideal if u are flying out the next day. They restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable.

The tv in the room was a bit small. But it shouldn't matter if u just want to spend one night to take a flight.

Functional Hotel - perfect for short stop over or business travel.

Clean and tidy - all you needed for a quick overnight stay. No 'bells and whistles' but warm and welcoming. Cafe for breakfast was efficient and food was OK.

Access from car park was not easy if you had a lot of luggage but once you got up to the hotel all was fine.
