uncomplicated hotel for a few nights' stays.

the hotel is located not too far from the main city of Lille, in what seems to be (or has been) a student accommodation of some sort. The rooms are rather small and the fittings a bit tired, but it's OK for an uncomplicated overnight stay. Quiet and no hissing or other weird noises from the heating/ventilation system. No noises from elevators or other guests coming up and down the stairs. The breakfast is OK - Nthing to write home about but all the basics are there. On the plus side, it's rather close to a very nice park with pond/lakes and promenades

The bathroom could have been larger and most importantly, have newer fittings. The corridors look tired as well.

Rooms are ckean but very-very small. With 3 persons it is not easy to stay in one room.

Poor cleanliness/good free parking

Free parking was very convenient.

The staff were adequate, however the hotel wasn't as clean as expected. The room was quite dirty in terms of the stained, dusty carpets as well as stained bed linen and towels. Bathroom sink and tub were poorly maintained with cracks. Lift also broke down during our stay which was inconvenient especially when carrying luggage down the stairs.

Good value for the price

Free-parking, friendly staff (we arrived at night many hours later due to traffic), very dog-friendly. We just stayed there for one night and it was absolutely fine. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The price was low so we can't complain about anything either. We wouldn't choose this hotel for a long stay but for a short time it's very recommendable.

Great location.

It was a very convenient location, near to the Stadium for the Rugby World Cup Games. The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and additional pillows were provided.

The hotel is a little dated. The hotel was very noisy on our first night with some loud talking and what sounded like a door slamming. This did not happen so much on the second night.

Short family stay

Hotel Kyriad offers a stellar experience, especially for those in transit. It’s the perfect place for a restful stay. The staff is commendable, with Guilain standing out for his exceptional friendliness and assistance. To top it all off, the breakfast is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Ideal location but won’t be returning here.

Very convenient location

room allocated was still not cleaned upon arrival at 5pm, we returned to reception to get a swap which was fine. Bathroom was not what I would call fresh and clean, sink so small that every time you put the tap on you get soaked. The main issue was that on the Sunday night around 2am we were awoken to a lot of shouting and threatening behaviour taking place outside the hotel which went on for at least an hour, no member of staff seemed to deal with it. The Gendarmerie finally turned up a couple of hours after and it settled. When we tried to discuss the issue with reception the next morning we were told she does not speak English and couldn’t help.

THE HOTEL DID NOT WELCOME US AND THEY THREW US OUT FOR NO REASON. THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE IS A RACIST. WE STAYED OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN, AT MIDNIGHT. THE REASON GIVEN IS THAT WE ARRIVED LATE AT NIGHT WHILE WE WARNED AND OUR HOTEL WAS WELL CONFIRMED. I AM WAITING FOR OUR INDEMNIFICATION.
