Let’s start with the positives: - Staff were friendly - Parking was free - Bed and pillows excellent Negatives: - Room was allocated to me, uncleaned. Towels on the floor, rubbish in the bin, bed sheets all over the bed not made. - Some random crawling insect was running around on the bedsheets when I returned from a day out. Windows had been closed so it didn’t enter that way. A mixed bag. It’s a good stop if you’re going to Lille or within an hour travel either way, comfort levels are good, but rooms are basis and dated, with stains and decor breaking off.

A bit out from the city centre but still easy enough to get to—makes sense given the cheaper price compared to other places. Finding the entrance from the bus stop was a bit tricky. I got a room with an awesome view of the windmills by the nearby museum. It was already pretty warm in early May, but I just opened the window and it was fine. The downside was that the hotel’s near a parking lot, and with the window open, I got woken up early by some noisy people out there. Still, the bed was super comfy, and the bath was great. They had free tea, coffee (with takeaway cups), and cookies too, which was a nice touch.

Been in this hotel a couple time before. It's ok for a night stay when en route. Functional and confortable beds. Bathroom of good size and easy to park. It shows signs of decay. Fixtures falling, cracked paint and things like that but as I said, it's ok for one night and really budget option

A very basic room without any frills. Hard bed, hard pillow. Hot evening but because tree branches outside were skraping on the window we had to keep it closed to avoid insects and squirrels in the room!! Area ok, quiet but reminded of school campus.

No a/c in the middle of the summer. No fan. Windows open, but no screen, so the bugs come in and it’s very unsafe for children. The sink was clogged up in our first room, so they moved us to a room with a clogged toilet. Staff was ok, but I’d never stay again. Terrible experience.

The hotel is just outside of the main city centre, however for a budget hotel it was very good. Good uber service available. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a bit small for 3 grown ups to share, but all in all a very nice budget hotel.

We paid close attention to the things described on Expedia such as bottle of water in the room, Large tv with premium channels- but found this not to be the case. The room was quite dirty and there were bugs in the room. It was also very noisy. We were right by the lift too. There were no sound proof rooms as described!

This would have been a reasonable stay if i had only booked 1 room. My family group had difficulty checking in and i was informed i had made mistakes on my booking. We were charged incorrectly for our rooms with no offer to resolve this. The hotel was clean and adequate for our stay.

Hotel was pleasant and in a quiet area. Rooms were decent, beds comfortable and bathrooms ok. Reception was quick with friendly staff. The big downside to this hotel is distance to the centre of Lille. As its not served by a nearby Metro you have to use taxis to get to the centre at a whopping 35 euros for a one way trip which takes around 15 minutes. If you are visiting Lille with the intention of spending time in the centre I would recommend a hotel in a more handy central area which although more expensive than the reasonably priced Kyriad Lille Est Villeneuve d'Ascq work out cheaper by the time you factor in taxi fares. If there is something local to this hotel you are visiting (within walking distance) then its a great place to stay.
