towels- full of old blood stains or something else the furniture in the rooms- quite old blinds on the window - old, squeaky, barely open walls - very thin, you can hear everything

The hotel have a great location, very close to the Pisa tower. You can walk to have dinner or go shopping. The staff was kind and very helpful.

You can ear all the noise from the corridors and from the upper floor. The room doesn't have any appliances to do tea or coffee. You need to pay extra for that.

Great value hotel in a central location

The location of this property is excellent being a short walk from the Piazza dei miracoli and Il torre pendente, it is also opposite a taxi rank which was very convenient for the airport. Very good value for money with friendly staff, breakfast was good with all the basics to give you a good start to the day. The beds were comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot with good pressure. Once we had worked out how to lift the shutters we also had a lovely view.

The room would have been better with a touch of fresh paint and less paper notices on the wall, it didn’t give us the best first impression but after a while we were able to see past this and we enjoyed our stay.

It’s good location, very italian style property. The staff were very pleasant.

The beds were comfortable. Bathroom amenities were replenished daily. It’s very simple room, and this is enough for a few nights stay.

Close to the Botanical garden and Piazza dei miracoli

The location of the hotel, both the nearness of the Piazza dei miracoli and the Botanical garden, as well as the street of the hotel were very nice. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel and one (minor) railway station is very near if you want to go to Lucca, for instance. As I had some work to do, I enjoyed the spacious and very nice lounge where I could do it peacefully. Also, the staff were very kind. The room and the bathroom were spacious enough.

It's just the matter of taste, the room and the bathroom reminded me of student dorms furnished in an older era.

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Pisa. The place was very clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right in the city center, close to all the main attractions and restaurants. The service was exceptional – everyone was extremely kind and helpful. I needed to warm up my baby’s bottle twice, and both the reception staff and the lady at breakfast were incredibly attentive and assisted me right away. Truly excellent experience – highly recommended!

Nice place and location for the price

Location was fantastic, and the front desk staff were very friendly and polite. Everything seemed clean, and the bathroom was a great size

Very basic hotel that should be a 2 star

Breakfast was good and location was good.

Our room smelled like a gents toilets and we had to ask to be moved. We were moved to a different room which was much better. Entrance wasn't nice. Gentleman on reception wasn't welcoming and gave us no information about breakfast, check-out or anything that's nice to know when you normally check-in at a hotel. Different staff working the following day which were more friendly.

Perfectly located friendly small Hotel

Ten minutes from the airport, two minutes to the Cathedral Square so great location. Lovely helpful staff. View from the bedroom was beautiful. Bedroom extremely clean. Good breakfast. The owner recommended the cathedral wall walk which was perfect as there were very few people up on the wall and it took us all around the town with wonderful views of the tower etc.. beautiful trees, flowers and a snapshot into life within the city walls.

Only issue for me was the bed mattress was very hard.

Ideal location and good value short stay when visiting Pisa

Fantastic location and just a short walk away from the Piazza dei Miracoli and the leaning tower. Rooms clean, staff very helpful and informed me quickly same day we checked out that I had left some personal belongs in my room.

The person at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. He was very accommodating. It was so close to the duomo and the tower. From the hotel you just had to cross the street then enter the wall and you’re there. Then if you’ve taken the train and got off at the station Pisa S. Rossore, you’re only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was also to my liking and the woman who made your coffee was very friendly and my cappuccino was with a smile.

The room was a little small but being alone, it was ok. I did not like that I could not open the window shutters but maybe I just did not know how and I did not ask.

Excellent location and service! Where?

Location was excellent for visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. I requested a kettle and received one promptly. After check out we were able to leave our bags at the hotel for several hours, and then were able to use the bathroom before heading out of town. We were very happy with our experience at Hotel Roma.

We have nothing negative to say.

Great location and friendly staff

Brilliant location to the Leaning Tower and our view had lovely views of it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly- they work very long shifts so they do very well. The breakfast in the morning was basic but still had a good variety so couldn't complain. Room was clean.

The shower was tiny so we really struggled to shower in it and because you couldn't really fit in the shower cubicle with the door shut, water went everyone. The air conditioning is only on for certain months of thr year.
