Good location. Decent breakfast. They offer you a discount voucher for cocktails at the hotel bar and the cocktails are quite good.

Temperature of sauna room was not high enough… And nothing against the hotel but on our floor there was another guest talking on the phone in the corridor and quite loud around midnight and again early in the morning…

Too small for 2 travelers

Location

From a 4-star property, we didn’t expect such an extremely small room, bed, and bathroom. It might be acceptable for one person, but it’s definitely too cramped for two travelers with luggage.

Excellent location near the city centre. The staff will do everything to accommodate your needs.

Make sure the double bed is a real double bed = 180 cm or more. The concept of an « open » bathroom is bizarre, if you like a bit of privacy, like I do.

Not worth the cost.

Central location.

We had a suite. Not worth £300, a nice enough room but would expect better from this price point. The bathroom smelt really bad, like drains.

A lovely hotel with great staff and service, would definitely stay again.

Great location on the river front, very nicely decorated, lovely room and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent, all very helpful and friendly, even took our bags to our room when we checked in.

Would have been nice to have had a restaurant on site for evening meals as an option. There is a room service menu but this is obviously microwave style dishes. The bar food was fine but also pre-prepared. Definitely suggest eating out.

Orleans is really worth a visit, beautiful cathedral and lovely old buildings plus the river Loire

It is not a spa hotel it is an hotel with a sauna and hamman.

Location, in front of the river, in walking distance from city center.

Room is too dark, bathroom not comfortable and the spa is not a spa is a sauna, an hamman and a jacuzzi is damp and basement that you need to book in advancement. Calling it a spa is a bit of hotelwashing

Okay but a bit pricey for Orléans

Location was great, room was a bit small and we expected a bit more for the price we paid

We had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived to check-in becuase there weren't enough staff at the front desk

Good hotel location if you don’t mind parking in a multi storey car park.

We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet. The rooms at the front over looking the Loire river were on a main road so although you have a view there is traffic noise. The hotel was located close to the old quarter of Orleans and shops which was very convenient. Breakfast were excellent with good choice.

They didn’t have their own car park. You had to use a multi storey car park close by which was inconvenient and charges applied of 10 euro every 24hrs. It was a spa hotel but we didn’t use these facilities.

Exceptional

Truly this hotel is a little gem. Given exactly the room we requested and made welcome on arrival. The girl working in the bar area was wonderful- high standard of service. Hotel recommended a place to eat and we tried it- food was modern and very good

No air conditioning & spiders

The hotel is in a good location, and the bed was comfortable.

This is not a 4 star hotel, and I would never recommend staying here during the summer. The air conditioning was not working in our room both nights (with temperatures of 25-30*C). Our room was not the only room affected. The hotel acknowledged the air conditioning was faulty and a repairman had been called to fix our room and another room. Despite complaining to the hotel, no satisfactory response was provided. At EUR 200 a night, the hotel is overpriced and fails to meet what it offers - and is certainly not 4 stars. There were also a lot of spiders in our room. I note a complaint about the faulty air conditioning and spiders was also made 8 months ago. Clearly this is an ongoing issue that has not been fixed by the hotel.

It is a good combination of historical discovery and SPA recreation.

The location, the building, the restaurant and the massage.

Busy road in front and the loud music played by some drivers in the middle of the night. Spare key didn’t work after the spa session. We had to go to the reception with bathrobe (this could easily avoided if it was a reception connection in corridors). Air Condition wasn’t affective at all. We have reported to the reception couple of times and they keep saying it is on maximum. Luckily it wasn’t too hot during our stay. But, this could be less enjoyable once the temperature is risen.

This is a beautiful old hotel but it has issues.

The staff at reception and in room service were wonderful. Kind, understanding and helpful. The location along the Loire and access to close parking was great. The lift works well, good wifi and it had air conditioning.

The bed needs replacing. We had a king bed but it split in the middle and was not comfortable. The doona is for polar regions. it’s just too hot and the air conditioner wasn’t strong enough to cope with a maxi doona. Parking was a challenge, low, tight, crowded but close and secure. There was noise from within the hotel and from the traffic.

The staff were great, evening in the bar/restaurant was most enjoyable and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

The bed was lovely. The room was clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and ample. I will be returning.

The bathroom was underdesigned: the water seeped out of the shower all over the bathroom floor; the towel rack heater was a mystery and we never got it to work. The sink, an imposing piece, took too much space without providing useful storage for toiletries.
