Great little find

Great breakfast lots of choice and decent quality, located on a peaceful clean street and only about a 10/15 minute walk to the town centre.

Good position, friendly staff

I chose the hotel because it came up with ‘parking’ as a filter. Once I had booked it informed me that street parking was free, but I could only leave the car outside the hotel for 15 minutes, and there was a car park they recommended nearby. Because of the height of the vehicle I could not use any of the underground car parks; the staff were very helpful in letting me leave the car outside overnight, after a late arrival, but the next morning we drove for 30 minutes trying to find a space. We were about to cancel our second night and leave when we met guests leaving the hotel who held their parking place until we were ready to take it; otherwise, we would have checked out.

Great hotel, but no air conditioning.

Great location, 10 minutes away from the city center and many parking locations nearby.

No air conditioning - we were in the upper floor and slept with the window open on a cool summer night. You don’t want to be there during a heatwave

An option with easy parking and nice outdoor space. Good choice for cyclists too

It must have been wonderful for guests staying in the hotel over the summer to have the lovely garden at their disposal. Going into Autumn at least we could enjoy the good breakfast buffet in a room overlooking the garden which was pleasant. The hotel is in a quiet residential area and parking is easier than in many areas of Orleans. The helpful receptionist pointed us to secure overnight parking nearby for a cost of €5 since we wanted to leave some luggage in the car. We were also pleased there was a (small) lift in the property to take our main luggage upstairs. I was impressed also to see they had provided a bicycle storage room.

We have stayed over the past years at most Orleans hotels but not this one as they don’t allow dogs. Actually the room we had (standard) was very small (would have been too cramped to fit in the dog!) and the tiny bathroom, though adequate, needed something better than the ill-fitting concertina door.

Liked it and would stay again

Location great. Quiet street, easy quick walk to centre. Bathroom was spacious with separate toilet. Lovely view over garden. Free parking in street if you can find a spot (and we did, right opposite).

Hard to have the window wide open and curtains closed. Breakfast ok but nothing special. No fresh fruit. Coffee not great or hot.

Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities. Breakfast was average for the price. Quite good location - about ten minute walk to city centre. Option of a meal in the hotel on arrival.

Room was facing the street and so was quite noisy. The building is old and therefore noise insulation is not good. The meals offered in the hotel were expensive.
