A well run hotel with friendly professional and efficient staff. It's a pretty solid and reliable hotel chain in my experience, but what stood out for me was that the staff were all very friendly and competent. So I had no issues. The beds and pillows seemed pretty comfy, and you can even buy them for yourself from their website which seems like a good indicator of quality. Breakfast was nice except the coffee could be improved. I was able to store my bike in a locked room inside the hotel which was great.

Location was easy to find, but didn’t like having to park on the road. We were not told the hotel car park was closed due to refurbishment.
Some staff, but not all, were a little grumpy.
Hairs in shower when we arrived 😖Noise of drilling in the room from refurbishment work - could have stared an hour later after most guests had left.
