Orleans is a beautiful city. The hotel was ok but not what I expected was ok

If you want to walk to the city, the location is fine.

I was charmed by the nice pictures and wallpapers, but should have looked a bit better. Our room was very small and warm. Leaving the window open was no option because it is a noisy area.

A better fit for wintertime

The location is very good.. in the Centre but yet quiet. The beds were clean. The staff were nice.

It’s was a very hot day and the rooms were very hot.. the fan didn’t manage cooling it down and the night was hot. The breakfast area is really to small for the size of the hotel and since the issue seems to be repeating maybe a solution should be taken into consideration? We wanted to leave early, as we’re on the road but had to wait 30 min till a table was free to dine. I feel like the price we payed for the night was overall not rational to what we got.

Ideally placed in the city, although the sat nav found the location it was difficult to spot as the entrance is tucked away.

Delightful hotel in superb location

This is a charming hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Orleans. There’s a public car park just opposite, affiliated with the hotel so to park overnight cost €5.50 which seems very good value to me. All staff we met were very pleasant and friendly. The room was perfectly fine. We booked a triple which had a double and single bed (preferable to a sofa bed) and we all had a good night’s sleep. It’s maybe a 5-10 min walk to the Cathedral with lots of bars and restaurants much closer. Orléans is a beautiful and vibrant place and I wish we could have spent longer there but we were stopping off en route. I would stay at the Hotel Marguerite again.

Perfect stopover in centre of Orléans to explore the town and stroll

Very friendly staff, lift, excellent central location, good wide spaces parking 2 min walk from there, good breakfast, good restaurant recommendation (Studio 16 open 7/7 was perfect for our dinner)

Bed was OK (slightly hard but i dont mind that) but pillows were very poor, not acceptable for a hotel. Our double room was small with no storage space, certainly not like on picture

The hotel's place is very close to the center

Beds and pillows are not confortable. The room was smelly, there was no vantilation in the room. When you open the windows there were lots of flies. The floor wasn't clean. Long story short, we didn't like the hotet in total.

The beds had a lamp attached at the head side of the bed frame. So you have to either sleep further down your feet off the bed, or your head next to the lamp.

The room was spacious and comfortable, location is very central, parking is very near. Staff is friendly.

No sound-proof inside the building, interior is warn out. The breakfast place is way too small, they do not manage to fit the people in even if you register in advance.

Thought the fact that they charged us to store our bikes in an old, narrow closet was unnecessary. We have been traveling by bike all over France and no hotel has charged us to park the bikes, especially not in a storage closet.

Pleasant stay in a well located hotel with great staff.

Located just on the edge of the central area so very convenient for access to restaurants, shops and sites. Breakfast was delicious but a bit of a race to get a table in the morning as there were a limited number of tables.
