The host, Eugénie, was lovely, helpful and flexible with times.
The location is perfect, almost on the river Loire and just a few minutes from the town center.
The large, upstairs room also has a fridge, microwave and lots of places and space to relax in.
The kitchen downstairs can also be used.
The WiFi is extremely fast.
A restored, 16th century home? What's NOT to love about this place...
NOT 'negatives', but you should know before you book...
The 60 steps of the stairs are steep, winding and narrow.
If you have large, bulky luggage, you will struggle.
If you are fat, infirm or unhealthy, the stairs WILL be a challenge.
Methods of payment at the property are bank transfer or cash. No credit cards.
Bring your own USB plugs and long cables to use them.

La chambre était très spacieuse, située au 3éme étage. Séjour de 3 nuits pendant la canicule, un ventilateur était mis à disposition : parfait. Le meuble de salle de douche était superbe et très pratique. Le lit confortable et fait chaque jour. Le petit déjeuner avec croissant et thé ou café offert était fort apprécié, d'autant que je les prenais dans un petit jardin attenant, très agréable. L'accueil d'Eugénie et la disponibilité pour monter / descendre la valise étaient parfaits. Je reviendrais certainement pour tester les autres chambres ;-)
Il ne s'agit pas d'un défaut mais d'un ressenti que d'autres n'auront certainement pas : la douche manquait de luminosité pour moi.
