Location - pretty central to cafes and restaurants with some beautiful ancient locations.

Loved the view from our room (Ines). Loved the staff who were super friendly and made great recommendations for local restaurants.

This quaint family run accommodation is situated on the doorstep of the forum in the Monti district of Rome. The accommodation consists of several "Apartments". We were in Ines which has a large window looking directly over the forum ruins and out onto the cobbled street below. The room was large with separate bathroom, there is a hairdryer which was of average quality. There is also a phenomenol roof terrace which offers incredible views of almost the entire city, down to the Colosseum. The city of Rome is walkable and we were able to see most areas during our 4 night stay, it was hot though and we were confined to the hotel for a few hours each afternoon, venturing out again around 6 pm. There are lots of really good eateries in the Monti area just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

The "Apartment" situation meant that there was a shared communal area ie kitchen/sitting area. We rarely saw others but could hear them coming home later at night etc. Just something to be aware of.
