Beautiful property in a central location. Superb!

Everything went well. Exceptional staff and attention to detail. Breakfast was perfect. The refurbished mansion is so beautiful and comfortable. Great location to walk to attractions, with a tram outside the main door.

We have three weeks in 11 different lodgings. This was by far our favorite. We highly recommend!

2 night stop over in Gent

A lovely greeting on arrival. We were very well looked after. A quirky B&B. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. The trams stopped right outside so we had easy access to central Gent.

Perhaps tea/coffee maker in the room, but we did have access to a kettle downstairs so it was fine.

One staff member was very helpful, and gave us some interesting local information.

It was inconvenient that we could not pay by credit card, and were not informed in advance of this.

Excellent breakfast staff but disappointed with the accessibility and cleanliness of the B&B.

The breakfast options were good. Guust and Gavin served breakfast in a very professional and friendly manner. The location was good in terms of reaching the city centre.

I didn't like the pillows, as they were hard and/or very lumpy. We had to ask for a fan to be put in the room, as one was not already present in the room as advertised. I had requested a room with a shower, as I cannot use a bath due to restricted mobility. We were kindly given a bathroom which had a shower but had to go down and up a flight of stairs to use the shower and the toilet. This worried me, as I was concerned about having a fall during the night. From the ground floor, we had to climb two flights of stairs to reach our room. The skirting boards and floor in our bedroom were dirty. The drain in the bathroom was dirty, very smelly and kept over-flowing onto the floor.

Quirky victorian colonial themed rooms with vestiges of a previous grand lifestyle.

A little bit over the top in clutter. No kettle in room (mentioned in reservation as included).Did not accept payment by Visa Card also mentioned in reservation as acceptable. In consequence had to track down a working ATM and pay in cash.

We loved our 3 nights at this completely qiurky, bonkers, delightful place.

We liked the unique quality of this place and the personal touch of the staff, also the parking for our motorcycle was perfect.

Lovely property and Ghent was fab

The character and the quirkiness of the property didn’t disappoint. Loved the individual bedrooms (we were in Asia). Good breakfast - cereal, croissants, rolls, meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and boiled eggs

It was very hot and there was no air con or even a fan. Had to keep the windows open which meant both Asia and our friends room Africa were very noisy. Not much sleep had by all but me

Nice weekend getaway

The whole bed and breakfast was very pleasant, giving aristocratic vibes with the high ceilings and furniture. We traveled with our dogs, so it was no problem to have them with us. Although the property is pretty much in the center of Ghent, it was very quiet.

The bathroom was not ensuite and we had to walk a flight of stairs to get to it, which was not optimal, especially when you meet other people in your pajamas. There was also some mold in the bahtroom

breakfast had fresh hot drinks and fresh eggs. good size for the B&B but should not be compared to big hoteles’ breakfast. amazing croissants !! the idea of themed rooms is in principle nice but they are too busy. Francis is nice and tries to help all the time.

You can only pay by cash. rooms are very small and they’re so filled with decoration that there is almost no space for luggage nor to move around the room. it feels that only bedlinen and toilet had been done. also, Too much stuff in the room that feels dirty/dusty and complicated to clean often enough when there is little time between departures and arrivals of clients. toilet looks old and needs refurbishing, although shower looked newer.

The host is absolutely amazing and welcoming. The property is lovely decorated and you can feel how much it means to them. We stayed in the african themed room which is a highlight for itself. Definitely would go back to experience the other rooms. Breakfast is amazing as well.

Room is facing the road and we could hear the trams driving by. When someone was walking upstairs our lamp was shakinh and made weird noises.

Beautiful fully renovated all house just minutes away from the centre of Ghent!

Breakfast was super, and the owners were always nice and helpfull. they were also pretty flexible with our last minute changes.. all in all, we were happy to have stayed here!
