Nice large room very close to the center. Leonard was nice and explained everything to us to make sure we had a plaisant stay. Interesting booklet with alternative fun options of what to do in Ghent!

This is our second time staying at this hotel, again during the Christmas period. The location is excellent, close to the station and the central square. The price is reasonable, the room is very spacious, and the manager is very helpful.
There is no refrigerator in the room, but there's one in the shared kitchen.

Great place to stay with unique bedrooms. Very close to the city centre and was better than advertised. The room was huge a the decor very stylish.
There was only one very minor thing - the shower pressure and temperature fluctuated

Very cool and quirky place in a great location for seeing sites in Ghent. The place has personality, and the owner has put a lot of effort into making that happen. Recommended.

The host was amazing - he helped us so much with everything and was so nice. The room was so worth it for the money. It even exceeded our expectations. I recommend for a group of friends (ask for the rock room)

Host was amazing. So easy going, let us check in early and was a late check out. Room was big.
Room was really hot. Room could do with a bit of updating, marks on walls, cracked tiles in the bathroom.

Very comfy bed and good curtains and very easy to get into the centre for a good price. Very good for a short stay.
Needs a little tlc to make it even better. We had no luck messaging over booking.com but found when we turned up we could ring a door bell to be let in.

Location was great, very close to main attractions. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was helpful and accommodating. Parking is available but at an extra cost. Shared kitchen and cooking facilities were useful.
The property in general was run down, dirty and full of clutter. It is in need of a deep clean, repair work needed and it also needs to be decorated throughout.
The kitchen was well equipped but the refrigerator and microwave were disgustingly dirty and ready to be replaced. The stair case is broken and a number of spindles need replacing.
The bedrooms don’t have anywhere to put your clothes. There are no wardrobes or drawers.
The rooms are noisy and you can hear noise from the other rooms.
The entrance lobby was dark gloomy and dirty, not really inviting.
I know this place is a work in progress and it needs a significant investment , however, it wouldn’t cost much to get the place cleaned.

Really unique stay! decor was very interesting & well styled. We stayed in the Andy Warhol room & was wowed by the size of the room & the stunning floor to ceiling windows. Bed very comfortable. Check in & out times very generous. Great location, a few minutes walk from all the action & not far from Dampoort station. Really good value for money, would definitely stay again & recommend it. Fantastic communication from the host, liked that he left a guide & list of recommendations as it’s always good to hear a locals perspective.
Pillows were a bit flat so it would be nice to have 2 each. Building not the most soundproofed on the inside.

Amazing artistic vibe, themed rooms. Good location and nice concept.

great rooms (we had all rooms on the upper floor), bathrooms were excellent (modern design with toiletries included), clean and large rooms, private parking inside the property yard (extra fee), easy communication with owner
we had to take the stairs to reach our rooms (no elevator), parking was near a wall and we had a neighbor complain that those are not parking places (where we parked) and he could have called the police to have our cars town away
5.0 / 10.0
The place is at walking distance of the city centre.
Sounds travels easily in the building, so noise from both outside and the other rooms and corridors is clearly audible.
Maintenance of the building could be significantly improved.

Location was ok
The state of the room (chanel room), ie: ceiling peeling and cracked, and walls (part covered with pictures), smell of bad drains on entry and also in bathroom area, musty stale smell in bedroom. Had to chase owner twice as unsatisfactory response in relation to our complaint, and still did not seem bothered. Had to pour shower gel in the toilet and round the drain in shower to kill the smell and keep windows open. Overall, very poor, bad customer service and cancelled return visit, paid twice the amount to stay elsewhere rather than spoil our trip.

Had a wonderful vibe to it, very comfortable and easy walk into centre.

The location is excellent, very close to the beautiful and historic centre of Gent. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is very comfortable and with an artistic ambiance! The parking available was ideal and not too expensive.
A very minor point, but a small table in the bathroom to put down washbags would be useful. Also some instructions of how to use the coffee machine, for those of us unused to that design.

Yes, it is really nice and colorful place. I love it!
Nothing every thing was good
5.0 / 10.0
The size of the room and the abundance of light.
The shower was awful, the shower hose had come apart with about a foot of plastic hose exposed, was leaking on all sides and only a trickle of water was actually coming out of the limescale-seized shower head. Also the water temperature oscillated between very hot and very cold. The room and bathroom could've been cleaner.
Staff/owner seemed disinterested and came into our room before check-out time and while we still had luggage and things in the room.
I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was as shown on the pictures (Dali room). I did not use/need it, but there would also be a small kitchen in the house one could use. The location was great. It's close to the city center (all walking distances). A good thing was also the mosquito net in front of the room.

You could hear everything what happend in the room above. And it got some erotic things going on. Like a erotic fotoshoot etc.

location was pretty good. Parking was arranged with the neighbour by Leonard for €15, which was fine. Room was large and had everything I needed, albeit, a bit warm.
There was no breakfast even though the web site and literature said it could be ordered. the common areas smelled (of dog) the bedroom was fine. I was woken at 2 in the morning with neighbours drinking outside, which lasted an hour. I should have shouted at them but don’t speak Flemish. 🤣.
