Lovely accommodation with large, bright rooms and shared kitchen access in fantastic location.

Lovely place with big rooms with all amenities plus access to shared kitchen. Friendly staff and very quiet for a good night’s sleep despite being walkable to so many places. Appreciated extra coffee pods etc being left out too.

Very charmant visit of Ghent

The room was perfect ! Very confortable and well designed/decorated. The place is very quiet and charming while very near every interesting place of the old city of Ghent, you can do anyrhing by walk.

Amazing location and fun bikes

The location is fantastic - very close to the centre and walking distance from everything. We liked the decor and it was comfortable. The bikes are a great feature and we had a coffee machine in our room which was nice.

We had a lot of mosquitoes in our room which was annoying and bothersome at night. I have flagged this to the host via WhatsApp which I hope they will resolve.

Wonderful boutique hotel in great location!

Loved the nespresso machine in the room. It was easy to get in and out, and great location. Loved having access to bicycles. Perfect central location for walking and exploring Gent. Very stylish, simple and well appointed. Perfect place to stay! Wonderful!

I'd prefer an easier method to unlock bikes, but not a big deal. Loved having free bikes as guests, super amenity!

Easy walk into town, spacious room

Spacious room and bathroom. Room had views of the belfry tower. Easy walk into the main part of town. bikes were available for use if you wanted.

Worth it

Great location - quiet street but easy walk to central Ghent. Beautiful lounge. Tea and coffee facilities. Very clean. I liked the tiny balcony which my room (number 3 ) had.

Room was on the small side but ok just for me. The bed was comfortable enough but it felt cheap and the mattress moved easily.

The common kitchen and dining area was great. The free coffee and machine were very welcome. The neighbourhood was very quiet with a handy express supermarket very close by. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The free bikes were a bonus too. 😀👏

This was perfect place for me and my wife. The room was cosy and clean. The location was also perfect. This place comes highly recommended if you stay in Ghent.

Great location and wonderful bikes

The location was quiet and close to the centre. The room was large and with a nice, big walk-in shower. The in-room Nespresso machine was great for kick-starting the day. The ability to just borrow a bike was wonderful and I saw much more of the city as a result, however, the first one I took didn’t have working lights, something I didn’t spot until it was dark!

The little things were just lacking - the shower-head leaked, the soap was empty, there was no tourist info, the room was a little sparse, with no pictures or photos and just lots of bare, empty shelves, and the bikes could do with a bit of a smarten up, but none of this impacted hugely in my enjoyment of my stay.

Fantastic location and accommodation!

Great location! We loved being able to use the bikes and make a simple meal in the kitchen. Also we really appreciated being able to make coffee and tea in the room. While we did not see staff they were very responsive and helpful. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean. We really enjoyed it. Only downside is that you can hear everything. One night some guests came back at 1am and were very loud. But with ear plugs we could get back to sleep. We’d happily stay here again!

Pleasant hotel in the centre of Ghent

Nicely decorated, centrally located, easy to check in, decent size, cool that they have free bike rental.

Room was on the ground floor which was fine but some people might not like. There was an issue with other guests being noisy on the first night but the owner sorted that out quickly.

The position is great and the rooms are quite beautiful with a very personal taste. there is no staff in the location but overall the services are nice and accessible.

The hotel from the outside is a bit difficult to spot and not really well-finished.

The location was perfect for us. Only a few minutes walk to the main area and plenty of coffee shops nearby. Loved the bikes that were available to use.

Great location and comfortable

room was clean and modern. bed and bedding were really cosy. very well located in Ghent to walk to all the sights, restaurants and bars. it’s self check in so we didn’t see anyone else in the building during our stay but we’re ok with that. we had the deluxe double, the room was big and the shower was huge.

the property could be a little better sign-posted as we weren’t sure which building it was.

Comfortable stay in a great location!

Very well located in Ghent. The rooms were spacious, airy and modern. Host was great, with fast communication and lots of recommendations for enjoying our stay! It’s also great that bikes are provided to use free of charge.

We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor, and it was quite noisy from guests upstairs and when anyone came in and out of the property.

Lovely, homely stay in the centre of Ghent, close to everything!

We loved our recent stay at Alphabed and Bike. The location was wonderful, nearby local cafes and restaurants and a very short walk to many of the sites of Ghent. We particularly loved that there was a kitchen with fridge, microwave and plates, dinner table etc for guest use during their stay, which made it very homely and a relaxed atmosphere.

There are bikes available for guests to use, but if you are a short person, like me, then they are too big, I couldn't touch the ground while sitting on the bike even with the seat at its lowest, which is not a criticism, just that you should be aware they are not designed for people around 150cms height. There is only one bedroom available downstairs, and the rooms are available on a first come first served basis, you choose your own room from what is still available on the day, so I hope that if you needed to stay on the ground level due to mobility issues then the host would possibly hold that room for you (I'm not sure, you can only ask I guess).

Great location, close to centre and main historical sites. The room was very good size and super clean but what made the stay even more special are the bikes. These were well maintained and allowed easier discovery of this beautiful city!

Modern accommodation in a super central location.

A very modern and comfortable stay. Superb location with easy access to Ghent centre. This was our 4th stay and the addition of free city bikes is great. You can explore the whole city in a cycling friendly area. Can’t fault our stay. Great communication with the owners meant that there were no problems when we arrived. Great value for money.
