Truly Wonderful

Disappointing

Friendly faces in the dining room. View of Lake lovely.

The shower didn't work (was sorted reasonably quickly) the bedding was inadequate. Lack of pillows, cheap yellow duvet cover. A kettle, but absolutely nothing else. It really needs a coffee machine or milk and tea bags in the room. Didn't overall feel like a 4* hotel in comparison to other 4* hotels we stayed at around the lake.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location

Lovely hotel in a great location. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the view, and the busy lakeside path in front of the hotel. It was a lovely walk into the town (about 15 mins) which was very pretty and vibrant.

The breakfast didn't really suit us, but it was always busy. Other than that it was perfect

Rooms a little dated for the price, would have expected actual tea and coffee in the room not just a kettle, cups and spoons. For a 4star and the price this should be standard. But just a little feedback not a complaint at all.

Great location, just outside the main Malcesine town, with easy access to the town and lake.

The location of the hotel is excellent; it's just a 10 min walk to Malcesine along the promenade, where there is ample choice of bars and restaurants. The outlook over the lake is just perfect, with the seating slightly elevated over the promenade. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The pool is situated at the back of the hotel and was quiet throughout our stay, with ample sun beds available. The hotel has ample parking. Access to boats offering trips to surrounding towns and areas are within a short walk of the hotel.

We had one of the standard rooms overlooking the pool and car park (4th floor). Whilst clean, neat and tidy, it was on the small side with no space to even store cases during our stay. Smoking is allowed at tables during meal times. (This did seem the norm across all restaurants, so wasn't unique to the hotel).

The staff was kind and helpful. I am vegan and let them know in advanced, and it's the first hotel in Italy that met my needs and prepared in advanced.

The jacuzzi was cold and dirty. The outdoor gym was full.of spiderwebs and dust. Looked like it was out of use for a long time.

We had a double bed. There were two duvets and both quite lightweight. As the October temperature starts to drop, something more substantial would have been better

I loved the violinist playing on a Wednesday breakfast We loved the coffee and cake afternoon everyday. I loved the chef at breakfast doing fresh omelette’s to your order.

The air on had a rattling fault when it was on for a while which was quite annoying. I would have really like a crunchy apple at breakfast but they are quite soft and maybe an orange.

Excellent views. Nice location. Easy walk to town. Good breakfast, but the restaurant for dinner wasn’t great. Food is prepared in a house nearby and it takes awhile to get. And basic menu. Not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. recommend staying here and walking to town for dinner.

Wonderful lakeside hotel

A perfect location lakeside, this hotel offers free parking which is premium along the lake. The receptionist was very helpful, spoke good English and couldnt have made our stay more pleasurable. A short lakeside walk into Malcesine, this hotel is Wonderful. Clean, spacious rooms with a stunning view. The beds are comfortable, bathroom modern and all in all a lovely room. There is a private small pier on the 'beach' where you can take drinks and snacks while enjoying the view and sun. Towels are provided, we decided to enjoy the pool area after the beach which has sun loungers and large comfortable sun beds. Its hard to choose between lakeside and pool, although the pool is close to the main Rd which is less relaxing than the former. There was free tea, coffee and cake on the the anoon and the hotel recommended restaurants for the evening. Breakfast with a view was very nice, great choice and very tasty. A waitress came rou d with tasters while we were eating and my partner had a chef made omelette and bacon which she really enjoyed. Overall I couldnt recommend this hotel enough and certainly hope to stay again.

Not a single thing, I couldnt fault anything about this property. The only small area for consideration would be more Gluten free options at the restaurant (pasta, bread etc)

Lovely hotel, lovely location.

Superb location with panoramic views of the Lake. I requested a room with a view and then to find we also had a private balcony was a bonus. There was a short jetty which you could sun bathe on the end of - perfect. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room afforded stunning views. I recommend this hotel.

The bedding was poor - a lightweight duvet that kept sliding off the bed as I slept.

Atendimento de Renato e Débora fantásticos. Proprietários que servem e interagem com os hóspedes como se fossemos velhos conhecidos. Café da manhã excepcional. Quarto amplo, com varanda que nos proporcionou uma vista explêndida do Lago di Garda. Qualidade do sono ótima. Garagem gratuíta. Localização ideal para pegar barco para Limone (venda de bilhete com 50% de desconto no hotel).

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Wir würden das Hotel Du Lac wieder besuchen.

Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See ist traumhaft mit wunderschönem Blick zum See. Zudem liegt es sehr ruhig. Das Zentrum ist fußläufig direkt an der Seepromenade sehr gut zu erreichen, ebenso der Fähranleger nach Limone. Das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr umfangreich - mehr braucht man wirklich nicht. Schade, dass wir nun Ende Oktober die herrliche Seeterrasse nicht mehr nutzen konnten, da es morgens einfach schon zu kalt war.

Für uns war alles ok und nichts verbesserungswürdig.

Immer wieder gerne

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick zum See. Der Ausblick war traumhaft. Die Bedienung im Restaurant war immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Frühstück konnte man zusätzlich nach Wunsch Eierspeisen bestellen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man den Badestrand mit Steg direkt vor dem Hotel nutzen. Auch der Pool ist sehr einladend. Kleines Manko - er liegt auf der Seite zur Hauptstrasse. Bis zur Altstadt von Malcesine läuft man nur ca. 10 Minuten auf der Strandpromenade. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt - die Bedienung der Dusche. Aber das ist wohl Ansichtssache.

Eine herrliche Zeit - der Ort hat es uns so einfach gemacht, für wenige Tage maximal Erholung zu finden und die Mischung

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Lago, keine Straße dazwischen. Wundervolle Blicke auf das gegenüberliegende Ufer - anders als im Süden, wo der See viel breiter ist- man kann den Schiffen zuschauen, wie sie ablegen Richting Limone, Torri del Benaco.. man kann quasi morgens aus dem Bett durch das Hotel gehen zum Schwimmen im See - oder im Pool, der nochmals außerordentliche Blicke freigibt. Man findet Ruhe. Die Einrichtung ist leicht in die Jahre gekommen - da aber alles appetitlich und freundlich ist, hat es sogar seinen besonderen Charme. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt - auch mit unseren beiden kleinen Hunden war es einfach schön. Dass man mit dem Wagen direkt zum Hotelparkplatz fahren kann ist sehr angenehm.

Die Zimmer mit Balkon in den oberen Etagen liegen sehr eng beieinander - und sind etwas hellhörig - mich hat es nicht gestört, aber ältere Herrschaften nebenan waren in der Sekunde da, als wir die Balkontür öffneten und baten um Ruhe…🤔 wo wir nicht garnicht auf dem Balkon angekommen waren

Die kleine ,wenig komfortable Sauna im Hotel wird mit 25 - Euro je Besuch in Rechnung gestellt. Das ist überteuert und unüblich für eigene Hotelgäste.
