Beautiful view of Lake Garda. The food was amazing and the staff was excellent. Nice walking trails close by around the lake with amazing restaurants. Easy access to boats to go to Limone foe a day trip.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was stunning and a short 20min walk along the lake shore to Malcesine. The hotel bistro was amazing! The food was beautiful and delicious. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, particularly, Octavian, who was delightful! Our room was spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing was a kettle but we were given one as soon as we asked at reception. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge amount of choice and the food was so fresh and delicious! The private spa experience was amazing, and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, an exceptional place to stay!

Er had an excellent stay, and really liked the hotel. Why? 1) Location; in a south facing small bay, with all the rooms against the sea. Amazing view. 2) Spacy rooms with a lot of fresh air from a silent new air conditiong system 3) Excellent breakfast, 4) Well organized outdoor areas, even with a fully booked hotel, there was space and privacy in the garden with the sun beds

Fabulous property right on the water’s edge. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, eaten overlooking Lake Garda. Beach towels provided to laze on the sun loungers either by the pool or admiring the lake view - simply stunning! Would definitely recommend this hotel without question, one of the best I’ve stayed at.

Superb location, great layout, incredible breakfast fair, wonderful staff. The view from the hotel was to die for. Only minus was the restaurant was rather pricey and the menu choice needed more traditional Italian dishes, of reasonable portions.

We have been to the Hotel for 4 times and I have recommended it to personal friends and family who in turn also had an awesome time. You can’t fault the location, the staff are all friendly and keen to provide you with anything you may need to make your stay one to remember. If you want to walk to the town you can and it’s a stunning walk along the lake. If you want to get there quicker the hotel will gladly lend you a bike or two for free again to make the difference!!! Breakfast is great and is the bar service, especially by the pool. The only slight negative I can think of is that there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. But you do have a fridge and there is a little shop just up the road. You even have English tv which was a new addition for this year and makes it feel more like home. We will be going again next year.

Everything about this hotel is superb, the staff, the food , the amazing breakfast , the choice of rooms, the incredible location (just 20 minute walk along the lake to Malcesine and just off the main road set in a bay - perfect ), the pool , the relaxed atmosphere , the parking , the style ......everything just how I like it to be.

Tranquillity was everywhere, whether it was on our balcony overlooking the lake, on the open veranda for breakfast or by table light for a high end dinner we were always relaxed and well looked after. I would only say the meals were good but not all dishes were worth the extra you pay compared to town.Finally it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Malcesnie and a beautiful walk day and night that helps build your appetite for all the Italian food.

Very good experience. Wonderful view and very clean. Room well appointed. Air-con tricky to work. Complimentary breakfast excellent. Reception team very helpful. Housekeeping put a lovely message on our mirror, recognising our 30th anniversary, along with 2 glasses of Champagne delivered to our room. Very nice touch. Evening dinners limited menu and quite expensive. This was the only slight negative of the whole experience.

My family of 5 (3 kids, 8, 12 and 14) loves Hotel Val Di Sogno. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and overlook the gorgeous lake. The food is excellent, including the included breakfast buffet, lunch by the pool and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pool area was great too. No complaints, this place is great. 25 minute beautiful walk by the lake to Malcesine.

Not only were they polite and accomodating, but they had good knowledge of the area and were happy to go out of their way to assit us with nothing but a smile on their face. We had a room with a lake view wbich was absolutely breathtaking. I would definately be back and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Lake Garda.

The service was top-notch, the room was a little dusty and I wish they allowed the air conditioner to be turned on in the month of Oct. Had to keep the door open over night.. The nights can still get plenty warm and then get really cold in early morning ... Overall, beautiful place in a good location.

We could not fault this hotel, all the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and everybody had a smile on their face. Which is not surprising given the view they look at every day! The location is perfect as only a 5 minute bus ride or 30 minute stroll on the beautiful coastal path into Malcesine. Can't wait to return.

The hotel is right on the lake and has amazing views. The rooms are large and modern. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. It has bicycles you can use to cycle along the lake front. It has a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool and a brand new spa/gym, all overlooking the lake. I would definitely return.
