A disappointment

Location, access to the beach, nearby breakfast places, nearby coffee shop, and easy parking. The staff were friendly.

The place is a motel with old furniture, old uncarpeted floors, cheaply renovated bathrooms, poor sound insulation, uncomfortable chairs, and old lamps (with LED bulbs in 3-way sockets).

Good for one night. Super comfy bed

Real great Hot shower , microwave .and heater working perfect. Bed really comfortable . Smart tv I could use was lovely .amazing sweet and super helpful & respectful staff .

Not enough light in the room . Old looking motel and felt isolated. My personal preference was being closer to Newport Beach pier by walking .Was good for my purpose for one night . I had a great sleep there. No elevator .

A great budget friendly location!

The staff were friendly and very accomodating. We arrived late and we had a small moving trailer. The staff allowed us to park on the back side of the motel and it was perfect. There is a small park in the back so our dog had plenty of space to relieve & roam. The room is a typical motel room. Very clean, all the amenities one needs. The location was was also perfect. We were able to walk the beach in the morning, have a nice breakfast in the area and get back on the road.

I have no complaints.

The location is unbeatable for the price - A 10-minute walk from the beach. It was clean enough and comfortable enough. for the price and location, it was pretty okay. I would stay here again; however, probably not for more than about two nights due to the condition of the beds

The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The floor left dirt spots on my feet.

I have been patronizing this property for decades. I like it because the rooms are quiet. Nice relaxed location. Great proximity to the beach

They have a problem with their hot / cold running water. Last year I stayed in the same room and they had no hot water. This year they had no cold water! BIG problem

The location is great. I can understand why they charge the amount because it's a great place to go surfing.

The internet was basically non-operable. Winding down for the evening, the television constantly had to load. I gave up on watching a movie because of it.

I wouldn't stay here again...

The location was great; the hotel was close to a park, with lots of shops, restaurants, and coffee options nearby. The beach was close by, and we love Newport Beach. The hotel provides complimentary beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for use, as well as an outdoor rinse area located near the lobby.

The floor was dirty; they didn't mop. My kids' feet were black after 2 minutes. The shower was gross, the drain didn't drain, and that's the nastiest thing when you're using a "communal shower" essentially. To top it off, the daytime staff wasn't very friendly.

Great for our purposes. Have stayed there in the past.

Beach, Restaurants, family near by. Everything we needed was walkable distance. Beautiful weather. Good coffee shop nearby, with very long line. Price good considering location. Unit had refrigerator and microwave. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

Would like a lighter blanket provided. I've learned to travel with my own light flannel sheet for a blanket as well as my own pillow. Electric wall plugs weren't near the head of the bed for phone charging.

The room needs some tlc, the floor was swollen from water infiltrations, there is a smell in the room that persisted thru the stay , the AC unit is placed that it hits you right in your head , it should be dispersed or positioned in a different way , the bathroom needs some updates

Good spot for a Newport Beach quick get-away -- just don't expect a resort.

This was a great place to stay for a short visit to Newport Beach. It was right across a large street from the beach, and next to a great place for breakfast. The staff was very kind, and lent us beach chairs, towels, and even a beach umbrella. The room was large and the bed was fine, and we had a coffee maker in the room, along with a small fridge and a microwave.

The room was a little dated, but that was OK. The window looked out on the parking lot which was the part the I had been expecting something nicer. But it is what it is. I would stay here again.
