Miserable experience.

Close to DTW airport, has a free shuttle.

Old, shabby, dingy hotel. AS OF MY STAY ON 11/10/2025 THERE WAS NO OPERATING ELEVATOR, nor, according to staff when I checked out in the morning, had it been operational for several weeks. This was not disclosed to me on check in, nor did the desk clerk tell me at any time. After I had paid for the room I had to discover when I read the sign posted on the elevator. No assistance was offered, no offer of a ground floor room was made, and when I expressed some frustration, the desk clerk responded that “she was not really interested in my opinion”. At NO time was any “sorry for the inconvenience” type of comment made to me. Although in good physical condition, I was a 72 year old woman traveling alone. Dragging two bags up the stairs @10PM after a difficult day of air travel chaos during the peak of the US Govt shutdown placed me at considerable physical risk of injury from a fall. AVOID THIS HOTEL, at least until they replace/fix the elevator unless you want a ground floor room. Also, the “pantry” in the lobby where these quick stay type hotels sell microwaveable food and snacks, had an empty cooler and shelves. Bring your out Hot Pickets and chips!

Cheap enough and would stay again…if they change their pillows; quiet even close to airport.

Location close to airport, shuttle proceeded although we didn’t use it. Also, they had breakfast but we didn’t eat there.

The pillows are way too small! I read this in the reviews and completely agree that this needs to be changed. They are the same size or smaller of throw pillows that you place on your couch….weird and not comfortable!

Good no-frills option for pre-flight stay.

The room is adequate -- just what you'd expect from an inexpensive airport hotel to crash in before an early flight. The shuttle to/from the airport was easy. The staff was very nice and helpful. Laundry room was a life saver.

Overall Good

The staff is always great here. They're always pleasant and helpful. They even gave me early check-in. The property and rooms are fairly clean. WiFi works great. Location is peaceful. They offer timely shuttle service to and from the airport.

My room was pretty old and dusty. Also, it smelled damp. Curtains were broken. Not much options in the breakfast. This was my second time here. The first time I went, I had a newer and cleaner room.

Don’t stay there!

The bed was comfortable

The rooms smelled bad (we tried 2 different ones), half of the the toilet paper holder was missing, the hair dryer was broke off the wall but you had to have the wall mount to turn it on, dirty curtains, dusty lamp.

The air conditioner did not work. The room temperature was about 37 degrees warmer than the hallway. The front desk told us it was the best it could do. If we propped open the door… the air from hallway would cool it down. But not to a temperature where air c conditioning is working co condition

I expect more from an American hotel, no matter the price

I liked the location near to the airport. The price was pretty good.

The hotel was shabby and musty. I got in at around 8:00 and took a taxi from the airport. I was hungry, and the hotel had absolutely no amenities-- no restaurant, no mini bar, no coffee... And it was not near anything. There was nothing to do, nothing to eat, nothing. The room was ok, i suppose. Nothing special. I was supposed to stay there two nights, but I changed to the Sheraton instead.

To get what you pay for

The hallway smell like mildew the room was not clean when I arrived there was blonde hair on the floor near the garbage can and the room smelled terrible The front desk person who checked me in charged my credit card even though my room was paid in advance The nice young lady with the braids assisted with reversing the charges and returning the funds to my card after the first young lady who was very rude when I arrived left for the evening after knowingly charging my card I told her when I arrived the room was paid for 2 days prior her attitude sucks and they should not have her at that front desk and people think white women are so nice She was despicable I was not in the mood for foolishness I was coming in town to bury my father and she was just terrible I ignored her comments and let her finish checking me in thank God the other young lady came on duty and was very pleasant and was happy to assist me with the mess the other young lady created.

The overall cleanliness of the entire hotel especially the room I stayed in they need to think about upgrading this place.

The entire place was gross and not clean. There was mold in the bathrooms that was clearly visible as soon as you walked in with a terrible odor. When we brought this to the front desks attention the lady clearly already knew about the mold and still continued to put us in that room and was extremely rude to speak to. We didn’t even stay the night it was so gross and uncared for.

Convenient to the airport

Bathroom ceiling had lots of mold. Toilet had issues and needed a plunger. Breakfast was woefully inadequate with no milk of tea bags of bread for toasting available and the decaf coffee was stone cold.

Close hotel near the airport and the price is right!

Easy, close location to DTW airport. Once you arrive go to "GROUND TRANSPORTATION" at the airport. It's basically going OUT where the "CHECK IN" area is IN the airport. Go UP the escalator and ACROSS the SKY BRIDGE. Once you cross the SKY BRIDGE there's an ELEVATOR to the left you can take to the 1st floor or take the escalator down to the 1st floor. Once on the 1ST floor you are about to go outside. There's STALLS "right side is 6 to 10" and the left side is "STALLS 1 TO 5" OUTSIDE the airport. You want to go LEFT (STALLS 1 TO 5) and their will be a lot of PARKING SHUTTLES etc. You are looking for the white "GATEWAY" shuttle bus. You will be sitting around for a while so make sure you ask OTHERWISE YOU'LL be sitting around for a while. Hotel is 5 minutes away. Breakfast was Good. Staff was helpful. Rooms and Showers were good. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!

Nothing really....you are here basically because the price is right and you need to be near the airport. I flew in at 11 pm and I was flying out at 720 am. So the hotel was perfect for my needs.

Close to airport. Shuttle but needs clear instruction for how to order shuttle. Enough fitness machines worked for my wife and I. Staff responded quickly to questions and needs.

The staff seemed unaware of things running out. Lobby bathroom was out of toilet paper. Breakfast: ran out of milk and yogurt. Business center computers were not working along with the fitness center TV.

The ladies working up front were very helpful with getting the bus to and from the airport. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked perfectly. Most importantly it was quiet especially after a long day of traveling and flying.
