Convenience and price
The hallway was dirty. A little ran down

Very quiet room, facility was in good condition. Friendly staff.
Overall room was somewhat clean but the toilet seat was dirty as well as the bathroom counter. The top of the refrigerator was covered in dirt and the carpets had stains. Also had to ask for extra pillow as there were only 3 in the room and had to ask for wash cloths. Also this is the only hotel I've been to that had no ice machine on site. Only a little bit of improvement would raise my rating a lot. Bed seemed to have a nice mattress but my wife and I woke up with lots of back pain. Also had 2 lights not working. These simple things make a big difference to us consumers.

wasn't breakfast just snacks
elevator did not work, toilet didn't flush in the first room assigned. generally run down condition.
5.0 / 10.0
Quiet
No dishes to accommodate for the kitchen, the toilet and sink was clogged in my room. There was still paint tape around the walls in my room as well. The elevators didn’t work.

It’s close to the airport. That’s it.
The rooms are extremely dingy and poorly maintained. There was bubble gum stuck on the sheets as well as other stains (see photos), refrigerator was extremely old and rusted (same for the stove), there was mold on the ceiling and hairs in the bathroom. Add to that some discolored towels and the smell of cigarette smoke that has been attempted to cover up. Horrible.

It was a good price, easy access to airport, room felt overall pretty clean and good AC.
There’s definitely a weird smell to the hotel overall; not too bad in the rooms but the hallways and lobby aren’t great. Don’t expect anything from the breakfast.

5 minutes to the airport
The place was dirty, it smelled like marijuana. My card was charged 3 times for the same transaction. I needed just one night due to an early flight. I would not stay there again.

The location
Towels and sheets had orange stains on them
The hotel smells weird all the way, though there. the room smells like someone personal living space. The TV didn't work (no signal), and the window wouldn't close all the way down in the room ... side door was kept open with a rock (bad business). No key pad needed hallways dusty asl just dirty

Property was great, booking app is horrible though. Huge misunderstanding because of “Booking”. Customer care is garbage, use “Hopper”
Loved the property and associates

I like the beds , always clean and super comfortable. The kitchenette is cool jus wish it had a lil oven. Maybe bring or buy an air fryer lol
The breakfast is subpar in my opinion, barely Continental. That's my only real complaint.

Other than being close to the airport there’s really nothing else to like about the property.
Upon arrival, the lobby had a strong odor of marijuana and cigarettes, which became even more intense on the second floor where my room was located. The room itself was unclean, there were crumbs scattered throughout the kitchen area, milky stains on the headboard, and the bathroom had not been properly cleaned.

The staff did the best they could!
The location was fair, but I believe the furniture could be updated and or atleast not broken. The dresser was broken everything looked dirty although house keeper cleaned up. The refrigerator had juice running down the side of the door. I booked a non smoking room that smells like smoke. I'm from Cleveland ohio and I was in Detroit to attend my cousin wedding I had not seen in like 10 years. I arrived to check in at 330pm but it took them 1 hr to find a working iron so, that made me 15-30min late to the wedding that was only 15min from my room. The hallways & elevator was dirty including the cart you put your luggage s on it was filthy juice animals hair. I had to hang all my luggage on hooks just so it don't come in contact with the filthy. I don't like complaining but I felt maybe something can be done if I speak up.The check in desk was even dirty with juice all over counter that I didn't want to sit my $700 purse on it to grab my wallet for staff. I wouldn't want to work or sleep in a environment like this. It don't have to be that bad if they clean up properly.

The room was more comfortable than I thought it would be .
Price was good. Room was big.
Trash overflowing by front entry. No ice machine is a big negative for me.
Breakfast was next to nothing.

I needed a free shuttle to the airport. And the booking com showed they have. But when I checked in, I found out they stopped the free shuttle service any more.

Comfortable bed
No Airport shuttle resulted in a $42 taxi ride to airport for early flight
Coffee not made at 6:15 a.m., despite posted hours beginning at 6:00
Hotel looked “dingy and worn.”

It was a place to stay.
On every sight they advertise a free shuttle. We booked this hotel simply because it was cost effective and offered a free shuttle. Once we checked in we were told they no longer offer the shuttle service and that they stopped that service over a year ago. WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING A SERVICE YOU NO LONGER OFFER??? Lucky were able to book a cab for a early morning flight.

I liked that we has enough towels.
The table in the room wasn't clean. This hotel has the aroma of really strong weed. It was awful, and the smell was throughout the hotel. There were no dishes or cookware in our room, and I had to go to the front which had a strong smell of weed, to get everything that wasn't in the room.

The room was spacious, clean and it was quiet too, which I like.
Everything was really good. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The location was convenient.
The morning staff was very grumpy and unhelpful. The room furniture was outdated, chipped and the linen was dirty, there was hair from the prior guest in the bathroom sink and on countertop. We had to ask for a set of dishes for the room, there were no coffee filters, coffee cups with the dishes nor dish soap to wash the dishes. I was very disappointed with my stay, but had no choice but to stay due to the first weekend of March madness at U of M. I will not be back.

They were oversold and walked me to their sister property 12 miles away! Had to pay for an Uber and took me an hr to get there in the snow!!!

The staff was friendly. I enjoyed having a kitchenette.
The bed was uncomfortable. The room needed a bit of an update.

Super close to the airport and airport parking lots. Full-size fridge in the room (great if you must stay multiple days). Spacious. The front-desk worker (Shannon) was a sweetheart! Full stars to her!
Room smelled faintly of old cigarette smoke, some strange stains on the carpet and sheets, outdated kitchen, no frills in room (aka no hairdryer) [although I bet you could call front desk to borrow one].
I departed before breakfast was served, but it was described to me as “granola bars and coffee”.

All the staff was polite & helpful, special shout out to LaToya. Latoya went over & beyond to help me in a crisis, you never know when a person is at their wits end & she helped me to keep striving another day, her kindness & understanding was over the top, thank you, may God truly bless you. The facility was clean & welcoming, the room felt like my own little apartment. These guys are doing an awesome job.
