Low cost hotel outside of main Portland. No high expectations. It was ok for on night on passing by.

Great pick for a one night stay, pass for a vacation spot.

The bed is comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. They provide large shower amenities, which was great. There is an extra sink outside the bathroom which was nice for two people to get ready at the same time. The room itself was very large. Plenty of parking and frequent security patrolled. Most of the staff were really nice and helpful. The Maintenance staff were especially on point at this hotel. Overall, if you are looking for a good night sleep and a hot shower hotel that's reasonable. This is a great option. But if you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a vacation. I would pick a different hotel.

This is an old hotel. The plumbing was an issue in both rooms(we were moved once and almost twice). We had a heat light exploded one night in the bathroom (luckily no one got hurt). The TV is not a smart TV, and most of the features in the room are old/ outdated. Lastly we couldn't enjoy the balcony because of an infestation of Kissing Beatles outside.

Beautiful location on Hayden Island with the river walk and Columbia River view. Tranquil location and close to airport, nearby restaurants and shops etc, or crossing the bridge into Washington State and the cute little town of Vancouver WA. We walked to the Island Cafe on Hayden and had a good dinner of fish and chips in a Jimmy Buffet style vibe. Super cool.

Nice place for holidays, especially for autumn periods.

The hotel is locating in a great place, where you can see the beautiful river. The fresh air is also makes your stay fabulous. The hotel is fabulous with its clean room, the nice and friendly staff and delicious breakfast and dinner menus. I can recommend other people to stay in this hotel, when you will travel to Portland, Oregon.

There is some spider webs in some points of the balcony door (from outside part) and handrails of it. These parts must be periodically cleaned, which it was during my stay. So, I have asked reception and nice cleaning ladies to clean it, they immediately have done it. This can be main point which you have to do for avoiding the expansion of webs to other parts of room.

Fantastic views, access to dock, balconies, great pool with a lovely temperature. The hot tub was essential and very nice. All right on the river. The restaurant was fantastic! We paid at booking to add breakfast and it was amazing. Full menu and cooked to order. The breakfast burritos, waffles, poached eggs, and omelets were all really top notch. And we chose to eat dinner there both nights as well! The French dip, Mediterranean salad, salmon, caprese and fries were all very delicious! The lemon water in the lobby was an extra nice touch. We really appreciated it. The place feels very welcoming and we would definitely stay here again. Also convenient access to target for any essentials. The staff was extremely attentive. If we needed anything at all, they came immediately! Best service we have had in a decade at hotels! Well done.

We had a beautiful room on the top floor at the very end of the hallway overlooking the water. It was lovely. We had a small issue with the TV and in 5 minutes a tech guy came to solve it.

I liked the separate spacious bedroom and the view towards the pool and the river.

1. The noise level was very loud from the airport (airplanes fly directly above hotel) and 3 times during the night there was a loud glasses noise that woke up my kids- probably threw down recycle trash or something similar. I would expect to install better windows and have more sound proof walls for such location and price tag. 2. The room is rather outdated- smells pretty dusty and the carpets are very old. Hopefully they remodel this soon so it looks like their modern lobby space.

The property smelled like rancid sewer both outside and in. I’m not sure what that was about. We inquired about our ADA room upon check-in and was told it wasn’t available and they didn’t have any other ADA rooms left even though I had messaged ahead of time and gotten a confirmation that we were to be in an ADA room.

Gorgeous place worth the value. The pool is so beautifully placed

The view and location. It was amazing . The rooms were comfortable and big.

The heat . There is not air conditioning in the hallways . Big spiders in doorways. Also staff for check in was the nicest I’ve ever interacted with. But the next morning g , rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with. Put me off from grabbing breakfast. She was so rude and unhelpful.

Ok, it did the job

Being on the river

Facilities-Dirty, pool was cloudy and dirty and should be open later, the ice machine on our floor did not work properly, never enough towels, daily cleaning was not done efficiently-it needed to be vacuumed never was, the patio was full of cobwebs and gross, the room service from the restaurant forgot fries with my sons grill cheese and I talked to the gal in person while I was upstairs ordering. I won’t be back to expensive for what you got. No free breakfast for the price you pay.

Amazing stay for busy families

The food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Our AC started dripping on the 3rd day causing an odd noise and wet floor. I did tell staff and she was going to have them look at it. We assumed it was due to us having AC on but it was 2 degrees lower than it was originally set, so it shouldn't have leaked that drastically.

NOT happy with our stay!

On the river and had an outdoor pool

We booked and suite with a balcony view and we got the first floor with no balcony. The first night we found ants around one of the sinks. The next day we had them on our chairs, tv stand, coffee table. When we woke up on the last day there were ants all over one of the beds on the sheets all over our suitcases and clothes! We got home 7/7/25 after a 7.5 hour drive and had to spend 3 hours going thru all our belongings and car cleaning, washing, and disinfecting everything! They only compensated us for 1 night…I feel for all the trouble we endured and not receiving our room with a balcony we should have a full refund!

Super comfortable bed - mattress, bedding, and pillows were all fantastic! Loved the rolling table, and the chairs in the room. I liked the hooks on the wall. Liquid hand soap and lotion dispensers by bathroom sink were great, Minifridge was quiet. Room location and general set-up in hallways, with windows at the end of hall, very nice. Loved overlooking the pool and river. Ordered ceasar salad to take up to my room - the food, price, and restaurant service - all great. I appreciated being able to pay a reasonable price for a small salad instead of feeling ripped off, and it was delicious.

Water pressure in the shower was not very strong. Water temp didn't get as hot as I would have liked for a shower.

View of Columbia River was beautiful. Security was visible, but not tacky. Room was comfortable. I did not get to enjoy pool or hot tub, but they looked inviting. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a very small issue with dinner, not a big deal, manager was fabulous.

After staff entered my room to clean it there was 40$ missing out of my wallet and my wallet was open and placed oddly in my purse. Never ever had this happen very frustrating. And do not waste your money on the food, The food was horribly overpriced and not good at all, frozen boxed food in an expensive nice restaurant very very disappointing.

Air conditioning was not working properly, engineer came to try to adjust. Came to ready-made breakfast but was cold due to heating system turned off. Had to wait forever for breakfast, very under-staffed. Staff did their best but were still in first weeks of employment.

High quality hotel on the Columbia River with many ammenities, be mindful that some of the rooms are near the freeway.

This is a great location with easy access to Portland, I-5, and Vancouver. Shopping and some restaurants are nearby. The river is a great bonus, as is a walkway along the river. The outdoors pool is larger than most hotel pools and there are tennis/pickle-ball courts as well. This is also where the America’s Cruise Line disembarks from their Columbia River cruise. Large conference facilities accommodate many outside groups. Staff were very helpful - I had a non-functioning Keurig in my room and someone came to replace it immediately. There are many places in Portland where you may have homeless encampments nearby, but this is not one of them. As of my visit in 2023, the grounds were regularly patrolled by security and felt safe and secure.

The west wing rooms on the west side of the building face the freeway and can be very noisy. Be aware of this when booking and asking about where room placement is. There are very nice views available from the rest of the hotel.

The breakfast was delicious! Lots of selection on the menu. The pool area was also very nice. The view of the river was beautiful as well. The hotel room and hallways were very wide and spacious.

Cleanliness overall - the view from almost every spot was great but the windows were all fairly grungy; the gym was very unkempt - garbage can overflowing, floor not vacuumed. The room itself was very clean, except the bathroom floor had quite a bit of hair in the corners and also two dried up contact lenses stuck to the floor.
