Very nice for a short term stay

Quiet and safe location. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Room is spacious and has many amenities, including comfortable bed, large bathroom, kitchenette, fast Wifi and several TV entertainment options.

the kitchenette is a wonderful idea, but the concept is somewhat defeated as there are no plates or silverware offered rendering it useless for any type of cooking.

Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel for the area.

Location was good and pricing was reasonable. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate. Easy in, easy out.

There was a large carpet stain as you got off the elevator on the 2nd floor. Suggest that to be cleaned because it didn't give a good first impression of facility cleanliness. Breakfast consists of self preparation of purchased items from the sundry shop.

Unnecessarily traumatic

Didn’t stay long enough for breakfast I stayed on the 2nd floor for one night. Never was able to sleep more than a few minutes at a time. Other customers being loud and making slamming noises all throughout the night and morning. Someone kept going by room doors including mine pounding on them. I suffer from PTSD and anxiety and this has been the most triggering experience for me since leaving my deployment in Iraq. I left as feasible in morning as I could and will never go back.

Absolutely will not be back

Full size refrigerator. Recliner to sit in.

No luggage carts were available at 10:45am when I went to check out. Other than housekeepers, the only employee was sitting in the lobby eating her breakfast (very unprofessional!) and was totally unaware of the problem and totally unconcerned. When I confronted her about the missing luggage carts (after walking by her in the lobby three times as I carried things to my car), she let me know that my complaint was totally out of line and she has no responsibility to address the situation. I have spent about 12 nights at this particular My Place in the last 2 months and I will be in Vancouver several more times in the next month, but I will absolutely not be back at this motel. I also do not think it's appropriate to demand the first and last name of additional people staying in the room with me. And I think it's pretty crazy to offer a "full kitchen" in the room but have absolutely no dishes or utensils -- not even a plastic spoon to stir coffee -- but then sell utensils in the lobby. Not sure why I put up with this crap as long as i did. No luggage carts and no attempt to resolve the problem is the last straw.

Love it here!

We absolutely love this hotel! It is clean and comfortable! Staff is always friendly and go above and beyond to deal with any problems with guest. We definitely will stay here again. The only issue we have is with people smoking near the front door and having to walk through it. But, that is minor.

My room was dirty! Smelled like wet dog when I walked in, Carpet was dirty (turned my feet black), and the bathroom had hairs on the toilet, shower, and vanity area.

We’re crossing off My Place hotels on our list.

The location was ok, walkable to the mall and restaurants.

We had to move rooms due to a mechanical problem. The room we moved to had dog food in various places on the carpet and obvious dog hair. We didn’t have a dog! They have a kitchen but no dishes or utensils at all.

I would definitely stay here again

The staff are truly amazing. Very helpful, friendly, and seem to enjoy their jobs. The room was clean, nice, and roomy. There is a laundry room available, which was so helpful as I had to extend my stay. The snack options are great, and they have paper plates and plastic utensils upon request. They really do whatever they can to make you comfortable.

The beds are very hard, but not any worse than any other hotel I've stayed at. I could hear the person in the next room snoring, so the walls are thin, but overall, the facility was pretty quiet.

Good value, clean and well-apportioned room.

The room was clean and had great amenities (kitchen area with micro and frig). The bed was comfortable and there were several pillow choices. It's not a high end establishment, but it was pleasant and folks were nice. I'd stay here again - and that pretty much says it all right there.
