Location is great for airport access. Shuttle was timely and driver was great. He helped with bags. Also having a Starbucks in the parking lot was nice.
The walls are thin and we could hear a lot of noise from the above room. There wasn’t a large variety of food in the market at the hotel.

Checked out before breakfast opened
Night receptionist did NOTHING to control the noise in the lobby (10/17/2025) My family's room (116) was close to the lobby. we experienced very loud shouting from 11PM to 1AM- sounded like drunken party. When my daughter called the front desk, the receptionists response was "we need to get quiet" making us feel she was part of the disturbance. The noise did not stop until we physically opened our room door to indicate our complaint.
The receptionist who checked us in that morning was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Kudos to that employee!

When I was placed in a clean room after having to move from two previous rooms where people had smoked, along iwth the rooms being filithy, smelled. I was finaly placed in a good room that was clean and up to the standards I am use to from Springhill Suites
I recently stayed at your SpringHill Suites location and, unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected.
Upon check-in, I was given a room that smelled strongly of smoke. Staff attempted to mask the odor with an overpowering air freshener, which only made the situation worse. I requested a new room and was given a second one that was just as unpleasant — the sheets were extremely wrinkled, the comforter appeared dirty, and overall, the room felt unclean. I honestly wouldn’t have felt comfortable letting my dog stay there.
At that point, I requested to cancel my reservation entirely so I could stay elsewhere. The front desk staff initially agreed, and I immediately booked a room at La Quinta, making sure it had a flexible cancellation policy just in case.
However, about ten minutes later, the front desk informed me that I could not cancel my reservation after all, as it was prepaid. This left me in a frustrating situation, especially since I was led to believe otherwise. Eventually, I was provided with a third room, which was clean, did not smell, and met my expectations. But the stress and confusion leading up to that point were unacceptable.
I’m thankful I had a backup plan, but this experience was far below the standards I associate with the SpringHill Suites brand. I’m requesting that you review this situation and consider offering compensation for the inconvenience, miscommunication, and initial poor room conditions.

The hotel doesn’t provide any services even the water you have to buy it from the reception. Small bottle of water would cost you $3.5 ! Surprised. Breakfast is below average. First time experience such a situation.

It's a great location, just 30 mins away from downtown or Riverwalk. Big rooms and good bathroom. Friendly front desk staff.
They need to change carpets. Rooms stink until you run the AC. Also breakfast offers packed sausage sandwich and packed waffles, very very cheap. I had a very good experience at Chicago on same chain. Refrigerator doesn't work.

The air/heat unit made noise all night, couldn’t turn off the light over the fridge had to call the front desk girl & she came down and had to pull the fridge out to unplug it. The coffee maker water reservoir was filled with coffee grounds so couldn’t use the coffee pot.

The telephones were off the hook and so could not call for a shuttle for over an hour. Finally we talked the Sheraton into transporting us. Upon arrival the hotel desk clerks didn't even realize that the phones were still off the hook.

The room smelled, their was mole in the shower, other people hair in wash bowl, I had to empty my own trash, their no soap to wash my hands, their was teenagers playing in and out the hotel, my linen look dirty and I had to clean my own room while I was there for a week.

The shower was terrible, water constantly fluctuated from hot to cold, the first night there we didn't even have hot water. We also requested a bathtub and still received a shower, we have toddlers and they were not comfortable taking showers. The parking lot is atrocious we always had to park super far away from the building and the entrance from the parking lot was out of service so we had to walk all the way to the front of the building, again not great since we had to carry toddlers. We definitely will not be staying here again.
