Close to airport

Staff told us they Did not recommend leaving our car there during our 4 night vacation. That’s why we choose this hotel, thinking we could as there website indicated. We had to pay additional $ parking across the street. Very loud with the noise from the planes.

Perfect location! Updated rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and the staff was amazing.

Good hotel, rude shuttle driver

The shuttle driver was incredibly rude. Made snide remarks when he wasn’t tipped by passengers. I genuinely don’t think that a hotel that advertises their free shuttle services at an international airport should allow their drivers to act in this way. He drove the night of June 28th and was rude when the same passengers got on the next morning to return to the airport but hadn’t tipped the night before. International airport means that often people are only stopping for a layover in Detroit, these people do not and should not be expected to have American cash to tip on them. Regardless of your view on tipping, the driver was beyond rude, raised his voice and made everyone uncomfortable, snarky remarks when people said thank you but didn’t tip and more than once swore in Arabic.

That the doors did not lock coming in from parking lot. Not safe anyone could walk in. Also get a sign saying your hotel name. Also you close your pool to early ly son was disappointed we had a late check in

It smelled and needs updating the elevator was so tiny you could barely get four people with luggage in it. We asked for a joining rooms but was told they didn’t have one but the housekeeper told us the room was a double and cleaned but wasn’t granted the room.

Pool, restaurant, bar, fitness center, shuttle every 30 mins to airport, close to enough to the airport that you can watch planes land and take off, was very clean and nice staff, will definitely stay here again.

The location was close to the airport. I missed the shuttle the first time it came around to pick me up because I was expecting a hotel branded shuttle. This shuttle was a older white shuttle with a previous hotels name peeled off the side and a piece of paper in the window that said "SH". Front desk agents were polite and smoothly checked me in. King room was nice, bed was comfortable. Room came with a fridge. We thought the bar closed at 12, night one we went at 9:50 they said they close at 10 but still made our drinks. Night two we went at 9 they were closed so we had to go to a neighbor hotel bar. Overall for a quick business trip it was fine.

Bad Night

The room we received was an adjoining room with a group of people having a party. We called down to the desk at 2AM to complain and they said they would send someone up deal with but they did not. We were up until 4AM when it finally got quiet. I complained to the manager Angel and the best she said she could do was to give me some Marriott Bonus points because I booked through Booking.com. I wanted the stay credited.

Stylish, clean

The midnight shuttle driver pretended to be waiting for me at the airport. I was stranded for 2 1/2 hrs thinking I must be in the wrong place, (even tho he passed me up,never attempted to stop) then we he HAD to BRING guests to the airport I was able to CATCH him! By then it was 4AM!
