Looks like used to be very nice hotel, now run down. Not very clean, but the bedding and towels were clean. The eggs and ham for breakfast were disgusting. The staff and the front desk never smiled or seemed very friendly. When we called for shuttle back to hotel from airport they never told us about how long and we waited 50 minutes outside in 17 degrees.

I checked in late, and lobby was extremely dirty. Hallways also very dirty. Breakfast was pretty dismal, all processed foods with high fat and sugar. Not everyone eats this way.

The location was ok but there are many better hotels closer to the airport. Shuttle to the airport is run by a different company and stops at multiple hotels for pick up.

The hotel was disgusting! Whole hotel smelled like wet dog! Carpets filthy, smelly, torn, stained and buckling. Bed linens were worn and torn with holes in them. Baseboards are rotted in numerous places. Curtains were broken and did not close. Vending machines not working. No cream for coffee. TV didn’t work. No fresh coffee during the day like at other hotels. Remotes were broken and missing the back of the remote. Bathroom haphazardly plastered to try and prevent leaks. The worst place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve traveled a lot!

Good priced option for the airport

Huge comfortable room - whirlpool bath available in addition to shower room. Very large bed. Plenty of hanging space. Shuttle bus to and from airport was easy to arrange (even at 1am). Simple breakfast but enough range to find something you can enjoy (cereals, eggs, waffles, bagels). And quiet! Far enough from the airport to not be bothered by planes but only 10 minutes or so on the shuttle.

The check in process didn't go over any amenities, where you can get breakfast, and there was no do not disturb signs for the door, the room had a musty smell, the hallway carpet leading to the rooms on the first floor needs cleaned or replaced, very dirty looking. There were boxes that remained in the hallway by the restaurant for the 2 days I was there.

Great people and a comfortable room. Please get the weather-stripping in the window replaced.

The room was fine and the beds were comfortable. We got "stuck" in Detroit due to flight issues and hadn't planned on spending the night. I reserved the room online and the room was ready when we arrived. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating and very helpful when I called wondering how to get to the shuttle at the airport for the trip to the hotel. I think her name was Joanna. We had dinner in the bar/grill and it was great.

The only problem that we had in the room is the weather-stripping on the window was worn out/gone (Room 302) and the wind "whistled" through the window all night long. That was pretty annoying. We tried to turn the fan on, but the "whistling" was still louder than the fan. A small and inexpensive fix to get the weather stripping replaced. Other than that, it was a great stay.
