A short drive takes you to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. Historic market towns include Chesterfield, Bakewell, Matlock and Matlock Bath. Riding, golf, fishing and sports centre, 3 miles away. Shop 2 miles, pub ¼ mile.

Lovely property, and so quiet and peaceful. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. Great value for money! Lots of walking on the doorstep too. We wouldn't mind coming back again, definitely.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cottage which in the pictures looks smaller than it is. It suited us perfectly as a couple. The new kitchen and bathroom with shower were lovely and spotlessly clean as was the whole cottage. The beds pillows and quilts were all really comfortable and we slept very well. The cottage is very well equipped and we very much appreciated the fresh flowers in the kitchen and sitting room.
