Beautiful cottage, in calm surrounding, perfect for exploring the local area.
A beautiful property, overlooking the lake. Plenty of parking onsite and easy access to the cottage. The house was very clean and exceptionally well equipped! The only thing that wasn’t there was kitchen towel, cling film & foil! Plates, glasses etc were there in abundance. It was a great base for exploring Matlock and the surrounding areas and we’d definitely recommend staying there.

Shocking! Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend. Still not had a response to our issues.
Location good except for flashing lights keeping two of us awake
Hot tub not working. Extension lead out of its PAT inspection date which is dangerous. Awaiting refund. Dirty floors. Left over items from previous guests including dirty socks. Broken blind, kitchen clock, lamps and lights not working. No-one on duty to rectify any of these matters. Flashing lights on all night on building opposite two of our bedroom windows. No reply to email.

Location was good for exploring The Peak District. Rooms were spacious. Host was really helpful finding us a DVD player.
Oven needs updating, only 1 shelf and difficult to control temperature. Towels need to be a higher quality.
