Please note: There is a pond, 5 yards away.. This charming holiday cottage sits alongside Cromford Mill Pond and the centre of this historic village. From inside or out you can relax and watch the wild fowl cruise the pond. The pond was used to feed the Arkwright Mill and the wheel is still turning. An ideal location with excellent walks nearby leading to Black Rocks, High Peak Trail, Cromford Mills and canal. Carsington Water with watersports and birdwatching is within easy reach. Matlock Bath only 1 mile and Abraham Heights and Gullivers Kingdom. Matlock for antiques and shops is 2 miles. Visit the old market town of Bakewell and sample the famous Bakewell pudding in one of the many tea rooms. Just a few miles from here is Chatsworth House and medieval Haddon Hall. Shop and pub 50 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
